I propose a NORAD like air defense agreement with Malaysia for IKN.Kalimantan definitely need it, because of IKN.
Why only Malaysia, if you wanted norad style air defense we need singapore, brunai and malaysia, if it possible Philippines alsoI propose a NORAD like air defense agreement with Malaysia for IKN.
Top speed is matter of drag, not weight. Weight can be an equation in drag but doesn't directly affect top speed itself. No surprise, MiG-25 with a gross weight of 29 tons and 20 tons total thrust can reach nearly Mach 3 in level flight
F-15EX with 26 tons of thrust and only 15-18 tons gross weight (excl CFT) should do a lot better
Brunei doesn't have an air force, not a serious air force. Philippines ? I think too many provocations concerning China. I wanted to make this as lowkey as possible, just enough to provide Nusantara with an adequate additional line of defense. Singapore is too far away. Why only Malaysia, if you wanted norad style air defense we need singapore, brunai and malaysia, if it possible Philippines also
Nice.Indonesia Officially Acquires Airbus A330 MRTT Tanker Aircraft for the Indonesian Air Force

NASIONAL, PALPOS.ID-After a careful evaluation process over several years, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia finally decided to acquire the Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) tanker aircraft to be operated by the Indonesian Air Force.
This decision was announced after a meeting between Deputy Minister of Defense M. Herindra and the Airbus Asia-Pacific delegation led by President Anand Stanley.
This choice is the result of a careful analysis of Indonesia's air defense needs.
As part of the contract which has become effective, the A330 MRTT will join several other Airbus defense products that have been selected by the Indonesian government.
The Airbus A330 MRTT was selected after careful evaluation, compared with competitors such as the Boeing KC-46A and Ilyushin Il-78.
The main consideration in this selection included the aircraft's ability to refuel in the air using both models, hose-and-drogue and flying boom, which are compatible with the Indonesian Air Force's current combat fleet.

Is that really MRTT or A400M ?Deputy Defence Minister Herindra confirmation of MRTT procurement.
Excerpts.
"Our air power development program places the modernization of defense equipment as a top priority, understanding that operational sustainability is key in maintaining the air fleet," stressed the President.
The Deputy Minister of Defense also emphasized that the Ministry of Defense is not only renewing and increasing the number of fighter aircraft to meet current defense needs, but also increasing capabilities by procuring Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft that support long-range flight operations."

I wonder why he didn't mention the KF-21 program. If we're still on track with it, that is.Regarding the acquisition of fighter jets over the next five years, it is not yet certain whether the procurement program that will be accommodated in the 2025-2029 Blue Book only includes the F-15EX or whether other fighter aircraft will also be purchased. Of course, the fighter jet in question is a new unit and not a used fighter aircraft like the Mirage 2000-5.
....except if it's 5th get fighterBut really, I do think it'll be good if we go no further after acquiring 24 F-15EX, especially regarding buying ready-made jet fighters from abroad,
F35....except if it's 5th get fighter

Well, yes, I would love to see the US finally allow us to buy F-35s. However, even after they refused to sell them to both Indonesia and Thailand, I somehow feel that it will still be easier for the latter to eventually obtain US permission to buy them.
The Turks, proven to be the best partner in arms purchase for indonesia so far, so klo saya sih yes...Well, yes, I would love to see the US finally allow us to buy F-35s. With that said, rather than the F-35, it appears that Turkiye's KAAN is a much more interesting prospect, don't you think?
Hm... as long as not APBN.Even better if the next government then gives their full support to the I-22 Sikatan as well, even though it may not be as advanced as KF-21.
