I am curious about AKREP. It is told to be 100km+ fire control radar. Wonder if it can help guide siper 2 to its max range as well. That would be nice.
Can you please give us another estimate of yours on the tolerance of your latest estimate?I look at what components are made locally and what percentage of the whole they should constitute.
Mavi Batu is intended as a generator. Typically a generator runs nearly non-stop, all around the clock and for months, thus it has to be reliable. It has to go through a lot of tests, and we haven't seen it more than a 3D image of it as of now.View attachment 66537

Since it is marine engine, cooling system of MAVİ differs from BATU? I mean always sea water circles?Mavi Batu is intended as a generator. Thanks mate. You are really good at generating these figures from the so-called statistical method of yours: "Manufacture A Bogus Actual-looking Data".83% ± 2%
It maybe gut feeling but I did study statistics.Thanks mate. You are really good at generating these figures from the so-called statistical method of yours: "Manufacture A Bogus Actual-looking Data".
There is no such statistics for any country, it is all gross estimations refined over time. It is always better than no data, that's why the world uses such estimates. I am guessing you have a better source for it.Whaddaya mean? The ass is as good source of information as any according to the vast majority of defense nerds worldwide. You just gotta have a statistics degree apparently. Which 83 percent of all people in Turkey have, by the way.
Auto translation;
Had no time to rewrite, or I have no intention of promoting my own Twitter account. But the biggest downgrade I have ever seen in my life after watching 15+ years of development history in Turkey, in relation to the stabilised turrets.
This is not a stabilised turret, but a remote control turret painted in Navy Grey.
WTF, for real?
Who's Unirobotics and why are they being propped up to replace Stamp and Stop directly by SSB and the navy.
Or why Targan is not going through similar tests as STAMP once did; this really confuses me as well. It can be cheaper, but it has to prove certain features during factory acceptance tests.
I'd think it's a typo, either 1 or 1.1, cause that's the realistic range.And this is how Kozan Erkan refutes the claim of reaching 11 km. It smells fishy from here.

If so, why don't they demonstrate it and let us see ? So far only talk and they don't act. I am highly doubting if their stabilization is ready at all, they are posing as if its ready to earn the remaining budget. If otherwise, They would have proven the stabilization on a 4 axis table in the factory. They have skipped this stage altogether and hopped to 'sea trials'. You all are not smelling some dirt here?TRAKON LITE UKSS, which has a user-friendly design and low maintenance cost, can be equipped with a 12.7mm machine gun or a 40mm automatic grenade launcher. Thanks to TRAKON LITE's sensitive optics, sensors and software, naval platforms will be able to engage precisely even in sea situations with heavy waves.
Not to mention that the craft is completely stationary.If so, why don't they demonstrate it and let us see ? So far only talk and they don't act. I have watched the video and all i see is a boat sailing a calm sea (that we may call as smooth as carsaf) and no shots fired.
P.S. again nowhere close to what STAMP has been subjected to.

They did correct their tweet.which was commanded from a range of approximately 11 kilometers.
Let us all use our brains for a moment and think about this, i am trying to remain unbiased as possible ignoring what i know about that company;There isn't a single doubt in my mind that someone in position of power has a stake in this, officially or under the table. Aselsan has a series of 12.7 mm to 30mm remote controlled turrets that have already proven themselves, there is no way this thing would even get a mention without someone high up interfering with things.
Edit: Btw, am I only one that doesn't like 12.7mm machine guns on USVs? These things aren't exactly small, they should be given a 20 or 25mm cannon or at least a 12.7mm gatling gun, MKE already produces both calibre guns.
There is quite literally only one answer to that, someone is putting their thumb on the scales because they are going to profit from it. No bias or anything else necessary at all because there is no other answer.Let us all use our brains for a moment and think about this, i am trying to remain unbiased as possible ignoring what i know about that company;
A ready to use, well-matured, field proven, serially produced weapon system is not ordered.
A weapon system that is yet to exist conceptually is ordered by TR -1 to 1 replicating capabilities of the aforementioned system with no additional capability, or modularity- , for an unknown amount (likely more than what the previously mentioned existing system would cost) , company utilized upfront payment for R&D and development of the mentioned system, not meeting any given deadlines (and with a questionable reliability when they did). State has paid for the development of a system, indirectly.
Why did Unirobotics need orders from TR prior to hiring new engineers and setting a team, if they were so confident of the company on making a good product (or a cost effective product to be competitive on the price) to rival the other system. All i want to know is this; why are they priviliged while not introducing anything new but domectic machine gun that also can he swapped to Stamp?
