Buddy, you guys also think you are better than anybody else in the ME. Every nation thinks highly of themselves. And Germans for good reasons. But i haven't come across anything that suggest they really think others are inferior to them. In fact so far what I know is, Germans are grateful to Turks because of sending workers to help rebuild their country after WW2. They identify with religion, tribe and clan. Same story in Nigeria with the Muslim North vs the Christian South. Fulani Nomads vs the Igbo Farmers.

All this national identity or unity is mainly from the West. Because France, Germany, Italy and Spain tried to unite all their different peoples and languages into 1 nation.

You got to remember that life goes on.

Remember how people kicked up such a huge storm about Afghanistan collapsing.
