They fought like lions, but we still don't get into direct contact much anymore, we usually leave the work to UAVs. In this way, we protect ourselves from possible ambushes.ÖKK kills 3 PKK terrorists in this footage, at 0:03 you can even see one going down near the tree/mast.
This is absolutely not true. There are actually nearly daily firefights, between TSK and the terrorists, UAV's play a big active role in targeting HVT's but not so much in the operations on the ground.but we still don't get into direct contact much anymore, we usually leave the work to UAVs. If you noticed, our soldiers tried to enter the conflict zone several times, but the commander instructed the soldiers not to advance.
I got to point thanks for information mate. This is absolutely not true. There are actually nearly daily firefights, between TSK and the terrorists, UAV's play a big active role in targeting HVT's but not so much in the operations on the ground.
Rightly so from the commander, you don't rush into conflict when you don't know about what's happening around, could be a trap for and ambush, open terrain, you never know who is in the buildings behind. They did the best possible, getting out of the vehicle, firing down on the terrorists, gaining fire superiority, forcing them to run and leave the place asap. Probably calling CAS or UAV support afterwards to scan the area and hunt down the remnants.
__________
Remember as the US Special Forces were ambushed in Niger, they didn't made it because they reacted slowly, if you watch the footage you will notice that they had a lot of opportunities and time to get into the vehicle and move, but they tried to engage, knowing nothing about the terrain, numbers of the militants and also the positions from were they are taking the shots. Result paid the ultimate price.
Its a team of 4 but all of them stand by the car in an unorganized way, what kind of Turkish team is that?ÖKK kills 3 PKK terrorists in this footage, at 0:03 you can even see one going down near the tree/mast.
True, actually one should have immediately cover the back, they shouldn't stand like that uncovered infront of the vehicle, communication was not good mainly failure of the commander but also the careless overreacting behaviour of the other soldiers. Its a team of 4 but all of them stand by the car in an unorganized way, what kind of Turkish team is that?
Look how they behave, one even made a pirouette.
They even stand side by side facing the terrorists rifles facing the sky,not strange to you?
It doesnt matter that he smoked the terrorist, this was ridiculous.True, actually one should have immediately cover the back, they shouldn't stand like that uncovered infront of the vehicle, communication was not good mainly failure of the commander but also the careless overreacting behaviour of the other soldiers.
Taking cover, protecting your back and clear communucations, none of them seen in the footage, at least they don't lack balls and skill with their rifle, he smoked that rat instantely from such a distance with couple rounds.
Well training in a military base is something else then in an environment where the opponent side shoots back.It doesnt matter that he smoked the terrorist, this was ridiculous.
How can a trained special forces team make such mistakes, unacceptable which leads to the conclusion:that fatass cant be special forces.
Looks like local Arabs.
Take a better look, two of them have belly's,they stick out. That's a plate carrier.
They wear the plate carrier over their jackets, i can see magazine pouches in the front and other bags on the side (maybe dump pouch or IFAK)...Take a better look, two of them have belly's,they stick out.
You can see that by the way they stand and move, these guys are never special forces.
I know what i'm talking about.
Lets just agree to disagree.
