I think yes. A mild start that will most probably escalate. In a similar manner MIT UCAVs are working in Kobani, Syria. Artillery units are also working on Tal Rifat, Syria.
If this is a response, it means we are making PKK responsible for the attack in Ankara.

3 terrorists were neutralized in result of a failed infiltration attempt.

Additionally it is reported that MIT neutralized the PKK's Hakkari so-called leader and one of the commanders in Hakurk, code name "Sefkan Amed", Serkan Nazlier in an operation in Hakurk.

There was also a more advanced Igla-1

I can't wait until MIT gets their hands on some Anka 3s, I know it would be overkill but the idea is just so fucking sweet.
Well, yes, it would be interesting to watch. But Anka3 is not a frontline attack aircraft. It is presented as a strike drone in strategic depth, and, one must assume, in strategically significant objects.
You know, since the conversation turned to this, I decided not to hide it any longer and share my dream with the forum members. Here's what I'm thinking about. Will Turkey have, say, Anka4, or 5, a drone (!) of such gigantic dimensions?

So what is the policy of Turkish government about Syrian Kürdistan?

Are we totally against any foundation of Kurdish autonomy in Syria? If Kurdish autonomy in Syria is a big threat for our national security, Then why did we allow Kurdish autonomy in Iraq?

Or are we against just YPG governed autonomy in Syria? So mild Kurdish autonomy in Syria will be okay?

To be honest, in northern Syria Kurdish population and density are very low, lower than Türkiye.

Look at the so called map, Even mofos don't claim territory from Syria, how come northern Syria became Kurdish territory?

There are a lot of so called Kürdistan maps, but they took tiny land from Syria.

Sorry for disturbing images but the maps shows there is no Kürdistan in Syria. Unbelievable, currently how those mofos rule the northern?

We should look from the perspective of Kurdish politics in Iraq and Syria based on mutual interest, realities and Turkiye's relationship with the big Kurdish powers.

There are basically two camps

Iraq Talabani---PYD/YPG Syria

Iraq Barzani---ENKS Syria

The first couple is heavily anti-Turkish. Bafel Talabani just like his father manages to play with all sides according to his plans, but he is too dumb to cross Turkiye's red lines.

The second couple is currently heavily pro-Turkiye, not because they love us, but because they realized after the failed independence referendum how heavily they depend on us and that they don't have any future without Turkiye. Basically we got them by the balls.

Talabani cooperates with all branches of the PKK both in Iraq and Syria while Barzani refuses cooperation and works in a tight coordination with Turkiye in order to support Turkiye's counter-terrorism efforts.

When we take in account these dynamics the next thing we should look is to see who is representing the Turkish supported Syrian Opposition that is supposed to negotiate with Assad on a constitution, actively play role in a possible election process and possibly rule the country. A part of the Syrian Opposition representation is the ENKS.

So when it comes to the Kurdish affairs in Iraq and Syria we support the Barzani-ENKS duo.

I personally don't think that we would support a Kurdish autonomy in Syria no matter with the ENKS or PYD on the lead. The protection of Syria's integrity is the main point according to which we shape our politics there. We support the greatest Kurdish power in the region (KDP) and they enable our policies within the Kurds, increasing our influence and this cooperation is based on mutual interests and the best thing is that they don't have any other choice.

▪️ The Turkish people are given sweet poison by saying “We are expanding to Misakı Milli borders"

Abdullah Öcalan has become arden supporter of Misakı Milli

Nechirvan Barzani said: " we are proud of that Erbil was showed in Turkish map"

Duhok and Erbil will join to Turkish Republic.

▪️ YPGISTAN in the north of Syria and BARZANISTAN in the north of Iraq (with the Turkish cities of Kirkuk and Mosul also joining Barzanistan) will come under our protection in the form of a so-called federation.

Changing alphabet under the name of Turkish union.

▪️ Afterwards, they will unite with our East and Southeast and declare independence.

Unfortunately We will found and gift Kürdistan to Kurds.

I think that with the last kayums and the rumors about even more including Van and Diyarbakır this initiative is done. By the way Nacirvan Barzani never said such a thing. It was fake news initially posted by a pro-PKK account.

I think we discussed a possible federation or confederation scenario with @Bozan . So far I don't think it is possible, but if KRG face an Iranian threat of invasion, then we will be forced to protect the KDP there and 2 options would be on the table. Either independence or living under Turkish protection. This is the worst scenario. KDP and Iran managed to normalize their relations so far, but it is temporary. We should work on better KDP-Iran relations while we fight PKK in the same time.

When it comes to Syria I think PKK/YPG federation is out of question. The only scenario of a federation there would be in case that the YPG/PKK threat is abolished entirely, the north of Syria is under Turkish/Opposition control and negotiations with Assad fail so bad that there is no other way to make it work. Even if some kind of autonomous region exists it will not be under the control of a Kurdish party as the demographics there and the population will be redistributed to its previous states. We can look how Afrin works today to help us imagine. Before the civil war there was a big Arab population.

Nevertheless I think we should be careful about KRG. The prospects are not very positive in the long term.
