The only reason why they do this talk about peacekeeping forces in ceasefire Ukraine, is because they want to roleplay as relevant.

The very thought that 10k European soldiers would be a deterrent against Russia, while a one Million hohol army isn't, is laughable.
Taking this serious, gives them credits. Even when they don't do it. The very fact that we talk about the possibility, makes them appear strong.
This roleplay is an insult. An insult to Ukrainians, an insult to Russia and an insult to the USA.
You could call it: "information warfare"

As I said Russia has 4-5 times more manpower than Ukraine. So even if they lose 1.5 times more they still win the war on attrition.

Same was with Germany in WW2.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced that Thales will produce 5000 Martlet LLM air defense missiles for Ukraine. The Martlet missiles have proven extremely effective at destroying Russian drones and cruise missiles.

The contract is valued at $2 Billion usd and will see 200 additional employees hired at the Thales factory in Ireland to facilitate the production line. Missile deliveries take place throughout 2025 and 2026 and there will be a $750 million usd option to continue production into 2027 if further orders are required.

I'd like to see Germany , France , Italy and Sweden announce similarly scaled orders for IRIS-T, SAMP/T, Mistral and, RB 70NG missiles in their own respective markets.
