By Baykar posts of the last 3 days, after Anadolu's long visit to the shipyard was complete and she sailed again, in the last 3 days TB3 made at least 13 takeoffs from and landings to Anadolu.

Brings the total over 4 days to 17, including the first night time landing. With the closing words of Selçuk, makes me think this round of tests are concluded and Anadolu will be going to Aksaz.

TB3 doesn't need an EOTS like TOYGUN. EOTS is for fast moving aircraft as it's really hard to turn a protruding ball while going 600kmh. TB3 don't have that problem so AF-500 is enough. Anka-3 possibly wouldn't also need it if it wasn't for the low visibility requirements.

Or not. 3 more take off and landings from PT-4 and 2 takeoffs where both birds landed back in Keşan, bringing the total to 21 landings and 23 takeoffs over 5 days. This time I believe this rounds of tests are now concluded after both aircraft went back to their home base.

Not just "instrumentalizating" it, there's so much more to do. Actually these are still just the baby steps on our way to make it a product.

Just below that Anmdt spoke about those as well in the past months.

Arms aside, ISR will be the punch of such a drone. High altitude, long endurance, robust sensors (AF-500, intelligence pod and so on).

For the arms, the ship itself has alternative platforms to deliver them (Cobra - Cirit / UMTAS, Çakır).


For LOS they will need to integrate additional antennas to the ship, additional consoles in the operations room or configuring an adjacent room as 'drone operations room' those two rooms will need an opening between.
Integration to the ADVENT so that data exchange or mission ploting becomes reasonable, or else TB3 will be there just for the appearance.
SATCOM bandwidth is another limit, they may need to make it possible to alternate between UAVs and stall some of them in cruise mode etc.
IMO the ship has sufficient SATCOM bandwidth but not all can be allocated for drones.

We need to work on modular pods asap, the Navy cannot be made to choose between customised TB3s before launching the UAV, and should be able to switch between ESM / Intelligence pod, an IRST or SAR pod just as installing the missiles.

And possibly a solid navalization, a maintanance package and rigs in the hangar to extend the life of the UAV etc. Baykar will need to miniaturise the overhaul/maintenance tools and packages and prepare a rig to fit into the hangar.

It is higher than the average commercial plane altitude of 36500 ft.

BayraktarTB2T-AI has new engines, but what it uses is not disclosed. We don't know TM100 or x engine.

Of course it is not disclosed but one can tell the similarities between the looks of the TM100 engine and the engine that can be seen in the video. Check out the comparison below. There is no such level of resemblance with the Rotax engine.
