In the end, much much larger. Many Turkish projects will be Europeanized. For today, we don't have any info, these are all MoUs.
I'm guessing hull with leonardo equipment kinda like we did t129. I'm really exited for the awacs variant of akinci because im not sure if current engines are enough to power multiple radars at the same time maybe just one that rotates and if our own airforce would buy it.

The government in Ankara clearly would like to see other nations join the effort. Back in 2023, TAI and Azerbaijan’s defense ministry signed a protocol to cooperate on production of the Kaan. That has not yet been formalized, Demiroglu says, but he notes that Baku’s close relations with Ankara, often described as “one nation, two states,” means that Azerbaijan will benefit from Kaan production regardless (AW&ST Aug. 14-Sept. 3, 2023, p. 29).

“Advanced-level discussions” are underway with other nations, Demiroglu says, but those countries face other priorities or financial challenges.

But TAI, he says, is open to different levels of involvement—either with Kaan, the Gokbey helicopter or the Anka UAV. As a result, Demiroglu is confident that the Kaan will secure an international development partner; geopolitics could force the hand of those countries and prompt them to make “bold decisions.”

“I do not know if [a Kaan partnership] will happen this year or next, but I am sure we will have it,” he says. “Once we do, everybody will know . . . that it will not be only one.”

Update on Aselsan's Leopard 2 upgrade for the Chilean Army Per TurDef:

"ASELSAN's modernisation programme is divided into four phases. The first phase, which has been completed, includes the C4ISR system and new radios. The second phase will overhaul the fire control system, add electro-optics, a new IFF system, a 360° surveillance suite, and fire suppression/NBC equipment.
The next two phases are expected to include armour overhauls and an active protection system as the finishing touch to the survivability."

However, "Chilean sources have reported that Germany refused to sell new Leopard 2 MBTs to Chile if a modernisation deal was made with ASELSAN.

In a live stream of Chile-based YouTube channel La Trinchera about ASELSAN's Leopard 2 modernisation programme for Chile, Germany's offer for new Leopard 2 models included the condition of not signing a modernisation deal with ASELSAN."

It's not clear directly if the German firm/Germany is talking about the entirety of the modernization package or its follow ups. We hadn't heard of a deal being signed previously, but per the source, it is signed and radio and C4ISR equipment is already delivered and deployed. All this is a translation of a translation, so some details might be missing/wrong. As far as I can remember, these tanks were modernized with modern radios by an Israeli company when they were first received. So maybe the first phase is not about Aselsan but Chile's own mod program.

Per the same stream, Aselsan is now also offering to upgrade Chile's Leopard 1Vs. "Chile will decide (to start the program or not) after observing the Leopard 2 modernisation process. The package is stated to include a change to a 120 mm smoothbore gun instead of the rifled 105 mm one.

Possible continuation of business links with Chile. Claimed Aselsan offer of modernizing up to 270 Chilean Marder 1A3s with Aselsan gear. No details on the scope of the program. But Chilean links are nothing new, Aselsan was tasked with modernizing radios of these vehicles few years ago as well.

"Following the Leopard 2A4 MBT modernisation package to be delivered by ASELSAN, another package is on the horizon. Chile-based defence news platform La Trinchera reported that Chilean officials have begun discussing a modernisation package for German-made Marder 1A3 IFVs with their Turkish counterparts.

Güngör, who said that Turkey would enter the top 10 in defense industry exports this year, made the following statements:

“Hopefully, it will enter; the numbers indicate that. The figures I received for the first four months of the year have reached 2.2 billion dollars. The contracts we signed have reached 4.4 billion dollars. These figures are over 70% higher than last year. We finished last year with 7.1 billion dollars. This year, we think it will exceed 8 billion.”

I believe that South Korea was on 10th place 2024 according to SIPRI with around 10bln €. Doable but would be a significant increase.

JOINT PRODUCTION AGREEMENT WITH INDONESIA

“We held very significant meetings in Indonesia. Together with Roketsan, we decided to implement investment and joint production there. These will be investments supported by Turkey, particularly in the fields of cruise missiles and air defense systems. Our joint productions will continue,” he said.

So it selected over SA vehicle and already delivered.

As per Otokar's wording, Arma's only participated in the parade and not delivered yet, unlike Cobra 2.

Whole Parade

Other new 8x8 vehicles also appear to have participated as well. (starting at 02:39:50)

Turkish Armored Vehicle to Show Its Firepower in Lithuania
Nurol Makina will showcase its latest military technology capabilities at a live-fire demonstration in Lithuania.

According to a statement from the company, Nurol Makina will participate in the event in Vilnius tomorrow for the second time.

The company previously conducted successful demonstrations with the integration of the 120 mm Ragnarok system developed by Rheinmetall Norway into the Ejder Yalçın 4x4 platform. This year, for the first time, it will present two new solutions: the 30x113mm VENOM LR Low-Recoil Medium Caliber Gun and the Ilgar I kamikaze munition.

During the demonstration, Nurol Makina’s flagship vehicle, the NMS 4x4, will conduct live-fire drills with the TRAKON 30 Remote-Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS), developed by UNIROBOTICS, a member of the Samsun Yurt Savunma (SYS) Group.

The system is integrated with the 30x113mm VENOM LR Low-Recoil Medium Caliber Gun, designed by AEI Systems, another strategic subsidiary of the SYS Group. With its adjustable firing rate, the VENOM LR offers operational flexibility tailored to mission-specific needs.

In addition, Ilgar I, a high-tech and sophisticated kamikaze munition, will be launched from Nurol Makina’s NMS 4x4 platform. Ilgar I was developed as a fully autonomous kamikaze munition that does not require remote piloting. Equipped with navigation, guidance, and control technologies of the tactical missile world, Ilgar allows the operator to make the final decision for target engagement.
