Defense Industries President Haluk Görgün said on social media that defense and aerospace exports have reached a new peak: "In August 2025, our defense and aerospace exports amounted to $834 million, an increase of 97.3%. Between January and August, total exports increased by 45 percent, reaching $5.418 billion."

According to my calculations, Turkish arms exports will exceed $8 billion this year.

One Russian expert, analyzing the pace of development of the Turkish military-industrial complex over the past 20 years, called it "Stalin's pace!" :)
This is the highest praise for Russians.

2024 exports was $7.154bn, if the 45% increase is kept through the rest of the year it makes 10.37bn, passing the $10bn barrier.

It's interesting. It is clearly on the British armed forces pavilion "Land Static Display" section alongside Ajax, Boxer and Challenger but noone else is reporting it. NMS is showcased both in this pavilion and also by Nurol alongside Ejder in their own section. So it's clear that NMS is in extensive testing with UK MoD; but unclear why NMS is shown at the pavilion alongside already actively in use vehicles while other contenders from the same program are missing.

Where I got the screenshots from. Pretty big showing from Turkish companies, BMC, Aselsan and Roketsan are also visible.

Finally able to see the poster next to it, it's a sales pitch for Nurol UK and its offered vehicles, Ejder(Dragon), NMS(Nomad) and NMS-L(Lurcher). Still very interesting:

Probably Greece and SC will block it.

Vietnam bought NATO-standard ammunition production line from Atesci Company of Turkey. An important milestone in the defense partnership between Vietnam and Turkey. (y)

Is this true?

There is an uproar within Indonesian military enthusiasts about their price tag.
He referred to export revenues, not price tag.

I also asked Özgür Güleryüz about Turkey’s warship ecosystem and its size. According to the information he provided, an average warship is valued at around 300 million dollars. Currently, more than 30 warships are being built in Turkey. According to our calculations, this represents a total value of 9 billion dollars. Güleryüz said that the company achieved a turnover of 550 million dollars in 2024, with 65-70% of that coming from export revenues, and added: “We aim to double that amount in warship exports.”

Are you sure he's not talking about selling 300 million dollar ship as 600 million dollar ?

STM General Manager Özgür Güleryüz announced the company's new goals at TEKNOFEST. Güleryüz noted that more than 30 warships are currently being produced in Türkiye, with the average value of a single ship being $300 million. He emphasized that Türkiye plans to export these ships for twice that amount, approximately $600 million.

Export prices are always higher, twice the local price is probably very cheap and it could probably sell for more. A price that is more attractive than a competing product's price is a good price also comparing quality of products.
