No. That doesn't seem like a very good idea. To replace the F-4 2020 and meet the necessary fighter demand, it's better to buy what's already on the market than to purchase a product still under development. And since they're different weight classes, the Eurofighter is better.
back then i just remember people saying it wasn't a good idea/feasible. I was thinking that if more nations are capable of building top end fighter it indirectly helps Turkiye. If 10 nations for example produced 5th gen, it would be hard to get messed around by America because you could simply go to someone else.
