Taller VLS-Cells have nothing to do with Quadpack. They are larger so these ships can use Siper-1 and Siper-2 as well as future missiles.

Submarine launched Atmaca, also-known-as Akata , has been successfully launched, hitting moving sea targets and stationary land targets.
This has shown that the Akata missile can be used as an anti ship missile as well as being used against targets on land. It can be launched from subs at a depth of 15 to 60 metres, whilst preserving the 250+km range of the original Atmaca missile.

Izmir frigate launched. A very important milestone for Turkish private shipyards
İzmir and İzmit's fitting out is going nicely.

Looks like on the mast, only the Cenk radars are missing. For İzmir, 2026H1 is aimed, for İzmit it should be 2026H2 or early 2027 with İçel to follow by late 2027. This seems to fit the 36 months program that was signed in January 2023.

Not according to my calculations. If we take the steel cutting and not the signing as starting date:

First steel cutting for the TCG Izmir, Izmit and icel were done on 23rd April 2023. 36 months makes it , all ships to be delivered on 22nd April 2026!

they were boasting that all 3 ships were to be ready together. Your timeline stretches to 2027?. So in essence they are late by over a year for the program to finish.

Yeah you're right i think. Only İzmir will probably be delivered within the timeline. They weren't saying all ships would be delivered together but back to back within few months of each other, still, delayed.

First test firing from MKE's 127 mm naval gun

The 127 mm/54 caliber gun, developed by the Machinery and Chemical Industry Joint Stock Company within the scope of the National Naval Gun Denizhan Project, was integrated into the weapon system deployed on the TCG FATİH (F-242) frigate and successfully completed its first test firing. This development was shared during the Ministry of National Defense's weekly press briefing.

In this context, the first test firing of the 127mm/54-caliber gun, which will also be used on the TF-2000 air defense warfare destroyers, was conducted. MKE General Manager İlhami Keleş announced the start of work on the 127mm naval gun during his appearance on the SAHA Sohbet YouTube program in August.

The Indigenous Mini-Submarine Will Begin Sea Trials

Designing and producing a submarine represents the cutting edge of marine technologies. DATUM, a company founded within Istanbul Technical University, has developed a submarine in the “mini” class, and in the coming months, the submarine will begin its sea trials.

Dr. Münir Cansın Özden, Chairman of the Board of DATUM, was the guest of Tolga Özbek. In the broadcast we prepared together with #bitlo, he shared the latest information about their submarine work.

Approval for Critical and Detailed Design

The aim is to test the systems intended for the Turkish Naval Forces’ ongoing MİLDEN Project. Providing information on the subject, Özden said:

“An indigenous submarine design has been completed. There were no foreign experts involved. The Presidency of Defense Industries approved the critical design phase. Turkish Lloyd approved the detailed design. Fifty-three points were tested. The prototype has been completed. We conducted its test at a depth of 400 meters on July 11, 2023.

We performed the test of the actual submarine on February 14, 2024. The submarine hull, with its propeller, was produced for the first time and received its certification. Within a few months, the sea trials will begin.”

The Multi-Purpose Mini Submarine is 12 meters long and weighs 36 tons. With a width of 2.3 meters, it can be transported by aircraft. The submarine can dive to 100 meters, while its systems are capable of operating at depths of up to 300 meters.

The second step of the work will be the Trança. The mini-submarine system will also include weaponry.
