CTS800-5 is in development. It will have a continuous power of 1600 shp. It can be an alternative for a possible naval Gökbey. It has the same weight and dimensions.

Either TAI already bought enough engines for an initial batch of like 10 or 20 helicopters. Doesn't mean they bought those from ukraine could be other post Soviet nations, unless TAI wants them brand new engines. My guess would be there will be the first batch with Ukrainian engines and then a couple of years after it will follow with domestic engines. At least now t70 will give us some time and Naval Gökbey will relive the Navy.

Wouldn't adding small wings to the structure be possible where the pods can be added. To avoid any mainframe damage when cirits are launched.

stubby sponson pylons are mostly less complicated since they have the weight closer to CG and have less workload when making it work at design stage
Also they provide some good clearance for the door gunners still
