Massive radome. At least 1 meter aperture. 43% bigger than current APG-81's 700mm aperture and roughly 10% bigger than APG-77 910mm aperture.

Larger surface area than the F-22 (and probably a greater radome), longer than the Su-57, and wider than the J-20... KAAN’s 4 tail stabilizer surfaces alone likely have a larger total surface area than an F-16’s wings area. No wonder it looks so majestic during taxi tests

Türkiye must ensure the security of the most important engineers we have, the closer we get to finishing KAAN the more dangerous it probably gets for them.
I don't think I have to convince people here that there are countries in this region that do not want us to achieve this 5th gen fighter jet.

There are substantial differences, the P1 seems a little lower in height. From the ground to the air intake (blue line)
The cockpit cupola height and width are different, a lower profile.

No need for 100 million dollar ladder program, use old school one

F22 doesn't have one either. Although there was a prototype for collapsable portable ladder to put inside cockpit

And how the turkish policy makers see a heavy long endurance fighter jet in their doctrine ?

I mean majority of turkish potential war area is quite close(greece Cyprus , Israel , Syria).

Is Turkey see Russia or Iran as potential military enemy(the only case when this much range make sense) ?

For example, f22 has over 8 tonnes but has very short leg due to very thrusty engine(f110 is quite fuel efficient ).

And AMCA has just 6.5 tonnes( IMO a very stupid decision, even less than f/a18 SH)

Is it possible that there were two different aircraft in the video. If you look at the connection between the vertical control surfaces and the plane they are different and in some cutouts the back sensor (thing) between the engines is there and sometimes not
