Arkadaslar, Türkiyede askerlik yapinca piskolojik test den gecmek gerekiyormu ?

In the last YAŞ meeting, 2 female colonels were made generals. Both helicopter pilots, Özlem Karapınar as I can see from the 125 CSAR Squadron(now retired, amalgamated into 135 in Konya) became air force's first female general; Armağan Özel from Army Aviation Command, became army's first female general. I believe with these two now there's a female general on all services including gendarme. Only Coast Guard remains.

Do they need any admiral in TCG, their vessels are old and rusty, their capabilities are small boats and not big ones like OPV 99m long.

Bro, first of all, not all Turkish naval ships are old. By 2028-2030 we will have fairly new 4 Milgem corvettes and around 4-6 Milgem size OPVs and 8 İstif Class frigates. Also 4 Barbaros Class frigates will be like new after their MLUs. Anadolu is new. So will Kocatepe destroyer be before 30’s. I am not counting the various Bayraktar Class amphibious landing ships and the Tuzla Class boats we have. 9 Kılıç Class FAC boats aren’t that old eıther,

As per @TR_123456 ’s post, age of a ship has got nothing to do with the rank of the captain that commands it.
Captain of a ship in Turkish navy has the rank of colonel equivalent in the army. Even the TCG Anadolu’s captain is a Staff Colonel (Kurmay Albay). But when needed as it is the flagship of Turkish navy, top brass of navy may choose to command from her bridge. Frigate captains are colonel or liutenant-colonel (deniz yarbay) equivalent as well.

In a submarine, the commanders (yarbay) or lieutenant commanders (binbaşı) are the captains of a submarine.

Admirals are not commanders of vessels. They are Group Cpmmanders. In other words they command a number of vessels.

What do you expect from a Dane, the Danish Navy has only two ships or something.
They dont need admirals,i say we kill @Saithan for this and hang him from one of our old ships.
What do you say Senior?

TCG = the Turkish coastguard though right?

The coastguard anyway needs admirals @Saithan (or peacetime highest officer rank equivalents if a military operates that way with flag officer promotion only during wartime etc).

It has to do with shared logistics and unified CnC with the navy. It is not really dependent on ship age and technology.

i.e if you have admirals in the navy, you need admirals in the coast guard too.

if peacetime highest rank is captain in navy, then same for coastguard. The domain is shared and needs close coordination.

That actually means Turkiye Cumhuriyeti Gemisi (Turkish Republic Ship)
But my good friend @Saithan may have meant the coast guard.

There are admirals in Turkish Coast Guard too.
In fact, vice admiral (3*), rear admiral (2*) and lower rear admiral (1*) ranks are filled by coast guard naval personnel.

WTF is wrong with those Koreans in the comment section?

They're pissed off Indonesia rejecting their KF-21 and opting for the KAAN.
Other than that, Koreans are really influenced by the west and they copy almost everything American, British, or European.
Baseball, line dance, cowboy hats, Royal Family fandom, you name it. Extremely Islamophobic too.

Yes

Looking at how Chinese Coast Guard is capable of protecting their claim in waters China wants to control. It's quite apparent to me that TCG is reduced to small boats and has very little deterrent against say, Greek vessels sailing all the way into our coasts, harrasing our fisher and sailors.

It'd be a waste to have unnecessary amount of command structure for TCG unless their capabilities are greater.

Surface patrols are carried out by 52 patrol vessels and smaller craft. The most effective of these are 14 search-and-rescue vessels 220 tons of Turkish design. Smaller 150 ton and 70 ton patrol boats of German design were nearing obsolescence in the mid-1990s. An ambitious construction plan foresaw a major strengthening of the service with eight new vessels of 350–400 tons and 48 ships of 180–300 tons. Integrated ADVENT MARTI Air Command Control System for CN-235 aircraft.[9] Coast Guard is equipped also with 20 mobile radars.[10]
