Regarding the latest Armenian attacks in the recently freed areas, I think we should not forget that in a recent interview the so called "Artsakh" Security Council Secretary Vitaly Balasanyan (who got blood on his hands from Khodjaly) announced the return of the territories that came under the control of Azerbaijan.
"I want to inform our people that the borders will be clarified, the issue of status will be raised. Not that the Askeran, Hadrut regions and other territories remained under the control of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. We will return these territories. I want to assure our people that we will carry out this work." he said, adding "We did not suffer defeat, did not knelt down. In what position Azerbaijan is now, I will not open the brackets, and in what position it will be, we will see.".
After that interview some other Armenians offered their more pricise thoughts on the matter asking for guerrilla tactics:
"On the other hand, it cannot be ruled out that some autonomous guerrilla groups of Armenians are beginning to probe the possibility of action behind enemy lines. It is clear that these actions should have been started in mid-October, since everything contributed to this.
After the conclusion of a truce, such actions will be considered illegal, at least on paper. But if we talk about real life, then all over the territory of the Hadrut, Shusha and Zangelan districts, very soon, battles may begin to boil again. Yes, their intensity will be much lower than during the active phase of the war, but losses can easily reach 15 people killed per day. And this is not enough.
And any sane person understands what 20 - 30 trained groups or simply sniper pairs and fours can do in this theater of operations."
If the case is as mentioned in the above mentioned interviews and statements, those taking part in the attacks should be handled out of the law of war.
