This minister dude must be watching this forum and responding.

One big loss for gulf countries is that they are at loss not investing in Turkey as their money can buy more in Turkey than elsewhere and Turkey is right nextdoor. There is no better choice for them. The pandemic will speed up the slide for them.

He said nothing new or extraordinary. He's also right, Erdoğan s caliphate dreams brought him on this collision path with some Gulf monarchies.

what caliphate dream?
Apologies, a string of Muslim Brotherhood dominated countries from Northern Africa to the Persian Gulf. It was only natural that Arab monarchies, Egypt would react, and I don't blame them.
With all its faults, I quite admire the Emiratis, they're quite emancipated (for Gulf Arab standards) and they're a pillar of stability against radicalisation and reactionary movements.

Everyone is allowed to realize their true potential but not Turkey?
What's wrong with getting the favor of the audience?

12% of 10M population is Emirati, the rest are all imports. They are a pillar of being artificial if anything.

Neither the one nor the other. Our goal is Turan. You are just babbling European media bullshit, without any clue of anything.

Then don't act surprised when you run into the other regional actors. That's all.

And is it not very wise to talk about emancipation of other as citizem of Romania, especially about countires which are miles ahead of you.
I don't think you know what emancipation means...Even in Ceausescu's Romania, everyone went to school, women were allowed to drive, helicopters and jet planes were being built, there was no discrimination on religious grounds...etc.

It's not a Western point, the Eastern block believed in those things and it was anti Western.
You may sing praises to the Saudis but they're still an opressive regime who discriminates on their citizens based on gender and religious affiliation and whose sharia law throughout the country is downright appalling.
