That photo look like being badly photoshop

I have asked Iranian member in PDF and he said he never heard there is any T ASR 3.

There is only Kashef 99, Kashef 1, and Kashef 2

This Kashef, some one try to photoshop the radar to fit their agenda

View attachment 12035

You might know better than us, the radars don't appear from hats like rabbits and early warning long range radar is not developed in some years and became operational in 4th year , the testing alone takes a year or two. :)
So, the 2D radar might be actually developed by Len and photoshopped by someone as T-ASR-3,
But long range early warning radar is identical to Iranian AESA radar, either it is actually from Iran with a license, or CAD of radar (along with some part details was handed over during negotiations) was avaliable so they started right from there.
and the latest PRN article from BPPT that display or reveal the mockup of our national GCI radar is also strikingly similar looking to that iranian Meraj-4 AESA radar .

If those numbers are the annual budget and given in rupiah, it should be a joke.
Regardless of the source, if this is going to deliver some design capabilities and T/R module production abilities moreover a confidence among people; it is the best shot.
But also should consider such a collaboration with Iran could repel other possible collaborations with Western or Asian radar manufacturers.

bukaka❓❔🤔 Never heard of that. Polytron is pretty decent for home audio. Does Polytron still in business these days ❓🤔 Most of the time I wonder why there isn't local products / services that actually cater for my need. For example every 2 years or so there is always sales rep from some mobile teleco company that came to me offering their upgraded service on top of the priority service I've already used. What I did was always giving them a very small list of what I need (requirement) and told them IF they can fulfil that few points, then give me the contract and I will sign it. So far NONE dare to come forward. The wort BS er is that SOE mobile teleco company whose always in the habit of BS ing all their customers even though I've always warned them that I've been in the related business / industry one way or another for over 20 years.

Another type of product that I really need but so far there isn't any local made substitute is textile related, in this case backpack. That's right I haven't found any locally made backpack that fit my rather stringent requirement. Example of few backpacks that I had bought (privately) and use
all of those backpacks were Made in Vietnam. I mean seriously?. Backpack is literally textile based product with internal aluminium frame and so far our industry unable to came out with anything in par with any of them 😖☹️
So far I've already sold all of them. Apparently every time after I use any gears for several times in actual real world field condition most of my friend / colleague insist of buying them. Sometimes I felt like I'm some kind of outdoor / field equipments makelaar here. ooch well they do need it more than I do, so I sold it to them at base price.

BUKAKA product are mostly enginering stuffs like this ...

While Polytron electronics are in their growing stage at this moment but atleast in the common Home apliances audio section atleast we have something to contend against the like of samsung or hitachi within the tolerance price range ...
Too bad their mobile phone product are in the pledgling stage and strugling ....

Why don't you reach the elemental defense industri when considering the bags or better ...
Go touring bandung outdoor work shop industries they will cater whatever you need provide you give them capital as a start up ...
Hell , Elger are coming from such workshop during the days ....

*cough* *cough* *cough* 🥴🤧 *cough* *cough* Its getting worse with my fingers & throat. *cough* *cough* *cough*. If I'm spilling out every thing about local textile based outdoor gears / equipments it will sound like I'm badmouthing them. So its best not to spill them out.

Rarely do I go out into the wilderness of Nusantara to play tourist.

As I had said earlier when it comes to critical equipment or the difference between life or death (literally speaking here), it is far wiser to avoid anything that has 💯"Karya Anak Bangsa". Although if anyone wished to throw their life away by using such equipments it's their business, but I won’t allow it in my team. Not while under my watch.

From all those backpacks I've posted previously, only the third backpack pass all my requirement (design, materials & construction). I'm planning to buy another one with plain colour (without NIR treatment) but gotta wait until global economy back on track again. And I won't be selling it again.

I'm a poor guy here, its already difficult enough living day to day as a poor person with all the gov't over regulation & over taxation. Beside there isn't any market niche in both in commercial sector & gov't / military for such NATO standard equipments. That is why all backpacks I have get sold really quick after being use several times

I even got a personal friend who move his duck farm abroad (still within ASEAN)
The gov't adage (particularly municipal level gov't) has always been "If We Can Make People Life Miserable, Why Making It Easy"
Curiously I've notice that Provincial level gov't tend to care more of the local folks wellbeing than the money grubber national gov't or the make life miserable municipal level gov't

All govt positive resolution and regulation always stucked up in the provincial level ... Always . Regardless on whose regime...
We stuck up in the devil's circle of corrupt municipal level which is sadly was the closest to our kin and neighbours ...
As radical and tough i was even i couldn't do much when confronted with close relative and such ....
Deep down inside " Tut wuri handayani " still ingrained deeply in our generation psyche ...

Yep, when I was worked at field in the early 2000 after reformation somewhere in Java Island, our local employee was son of local politician, he was senior from the "yellow party" and had higher rank, he said that reformation has moved the corruption from central level into the region level, due to decentralization, and even worse because the district head act like the local king.
But then this situation are reduced after KPK detain a lot of district head, however the bureaucracy still the problem, it's a tool for the local district to do blackmail to investor if they want their investment got permitted, that's why Jokowi push the so called "omnibus law" get approved that include cutting a lot of local district permit for investment, even thought there are labor benefit seems get reduced too.

Municipal level gov't still have a lot of leeway in determining permit & levy even with Omnibus Law. Moreover, the Omnibus Law only benefiting few industrial sectors (read : the big industry).

Another problem with the municipal gov't is, even IF they want to be pro business & pro investor (a very big IF) they don't even know how to do it. I've notice nearly all of them just extend the working hours + adding ridiculously expensive computers + network service (which potentially another corruption case) without even bother to cutting any red tape . The very notion of cutting red tape is simply incomprehensible for them (unable to think that way)

Our society is mostly Made up of ****** who doing best to Made a business of business deals. They don't know the meaning of creation process and the beauty of industrialization. They would even sold their moral as long as they don't work hard and creating stuff like laborer you usually found on Vietnam or China.

Honestly I am upset with this kind of procurement, if I am not mistaken we have regulation for defense equipment should be procure locally and if we didn't have the product locally, we will procure overseas. A lot of local manufacturer have this kind of product. Government should strict on this matter

There is the law, and there is the law.

Buying from local, doesn't improve the prestige image of the procuring agency / institution

I kinda wonder what kind of prestige they can get by importing Soap boxes like armored cars from unheard company like Panu or whatsoever their name is?

If they are importing something in the same class of vehicles like Amir Gaia or Plasan Sandcat in which had reputable battle record and coming from major company from Israel in which had reputation as battle hardened country i am still get it for what they are trying to get. But this one, i can only sigh
