They're necessary conflicts. If Turkey doesn't get involved in Syria and Iraq, the US/Israel will create "Kurdistan" and carve away a part of Turkey. If Turkey doesn't get involved in Libya, they will take away 80% of our continental shelf in the East Med and steal our oil/gas.But it seems it's gotten worse as Turkey drags itself into unnecessary conflicts
Back in the day Turkey didn't have a nationalistic voice. It was at the service of the US. It was getting involved in US-sponsored conflicts like Korean War, Cuban Missile Crisis, etc. which had nothing to do with Turkish interests. No one was calling it "unnecessary conflicts" back when Turkey was putting its neck on the line for US interests. But when Turkey sends soldiers to Libya for TURKISH INTERESTS all of a sudden it's an "unnecessary conflict". It is indeed VERY, VERY necessary.
