On contrary, adopt full refugee and full support Pashinyan!

Thus, TR supports the pro-western Pashinyan and looks "cute" to the West. Anyway, the Armenian refugees do not stay here, they all migrate to France. Macron also gets his most beloved Armenians. But whoever the French finance minister would not be so happy! :ROFLMAO:

They'll stay, and like the Syrian refugees and some of the Turkish-Kurdish population, they'll refuse to integrate and eventually be the tools of internal sectarian pressures used by Turkey's enemies.

Lol at the guy in the background picking his teeth in flipflops and military fatigue =)))

lol

Why is the Army rebelling ? They're the ones who lost the war.

Since its independence Armenia is ruled by corrupt and incompetent Kremlin puppets and oligarchs. For decades they were building a Military that as we saw last year is not fit for the 21st century warfare... yet now Pashinyan who came to power 2 years ago is guilty for their defeat and the Military leaders are all clean and making demands etc.

The worst is that many Armenians even after this defeat just can’t stop, take a breath and think about where they made a mistake and if the path they followed is the right one. They still want war and are ready to do everything to achieve it which for a country in their position is just not right...

The issue here seems to be none of that, more like the West(Pashinyan) against Russia(the military leaders with the ex prime minister/president).

Anybody here is feeling sorry for Nikol? It wasn't completely his fault that Armenia got the ass kicking of the century but somehow he becomes the scapegoat for everything not just about the result of the war but everything wrong with Armenia.

I supported the Azeri and have no love for Nikol but even I think some of things most of these Armenian said to him is very distrubing and I even felt for the guy.

Whatever Nikol did he deserves to ride out the rest of the term. If the protesters wanted him out they should wait for the next election.

Whats the militarys problem? Do they want total annihilation?
From what i understood. Pshinyan yesterday blamed the military for defeat. He wants the get away with the defeat. In response today military wanted the resignation of Pashinyan and things get escalated. It's not like that military brass is stupid and wants to wage another war.

A little story would summarize our role here;
They asked the rooster "which came first: the chicken or the egg?" Rooster replied, i don't mind, i just do my job.

While the military might not want it. The general populations might not agree with the military. You would not believe how many videos I watch where Armenians wanted to "glass" Baku. It's funny at first but after a while it's clear the armenians wanted another conflict.

I think Russian role is not insignificant here too, we might see the end of democracy in Armenia these days.

Don't feel sorry for him. "new wars for new lands", "treaty of sevres the basis for the armenian state", "Turkey committing a new genocide", "Pakistan sending terrorists to fight" He's an evil racist little man that deserved to get humiliated and crushed in a war he started.

Dancing in Shushi to insult the Azeri people and the million they chased from their homes. Celebrating the armenian genocide of the peaceful Azeri people.

He deserves everything he gets and what a desperate political clown that even after losing a war he clings to power.

Somebody gotta be the scapegoat , Pashinyan for this case.
It was less likely for army to accept the failure, they have put the blame on PM for surrendering as if they were able to change what is destined to happen.
At least they squeezed out a good deal by keeping Armenian populated areas connected to the home.
And now their PM has started to spill real cause of failure was the Army which has heavily relied on Russia and their equipment unconditionally.
If i remember correctly they have downed several UAVs, why not displaying them anymore though?
Or they were actually not down :)

The Prime Minister of Armenia is in a desperate situation in my opinion. The territorial integrity of Armenia is currently clearly supported by Russia. Armenia is a country 100% dependent on the great powers and especially on Putin. Armenia's mistake was to occupy recognized territories of Azerbaijan where historically it never belonged. In Greece they support the Armenians for geopolitical and religious reasons but historically and legally according to the UN in Nagorno-Karabakh there was an occupying army in foreign territory for 29 years. I think it is very likely that this defeat of Armenia will bring about political changes within it. The people of Armenia cannot digest this criminal policy pursued by the Armenian Governments all these years. A man who will have an anti-Western orientation will come to the government of Armenia because with Pashinyan the country was destroyed. What Armenia needs to do is have a stable geopolitical direction and governmental power in order to be able to develop economically and militarily by creating a domestic defense industry. But these things will certainly take several years to become a reality.

Armenian destiny is sealed with the recent failed war. Its going to incrementally be absorbed by Russia.

The only way that armenia could have existed as a viable independent state was to return the occupied land to Azerbaijan and potentially hold onto some of it. To then normalise relations with Turkey.

No nation in the region wants to see Russia in the caucuses, had Armenia behaved intelligently and responsibly they would be a prosperous nation today. Instead they return to being a russian colony.

You can't fix stupid. Being able to make money in overseas nations does not mean they have the ability of wise statecraft. Russia and the western Diaspora ultimately are responsible for Armenia's downfall.

The Greeks play a similar game to the Armenians.

One thing the Russians have always been exceptionally good at is using others misery and stupidity to their own benefit. They played a similar game on Assad in Syria, let him drown and just before he passes out move in, turning assad/syria into a russian colony.

You are right, the direction that Armenia has is completely self-destructive. With the change of prime minister and the change of its geopolitical aspirations, Armenia may be able to stand on its own two feet in 10-15 years from today, it has a long way to go. In Syria, the accounts have not been clarified yet, there are Turkey and the USA that are ruining Russia's colonial dream, especially Turkey because it has established a large number of bases and also supports the Syrian Opposition. The US, although making life difficult for the Russians because they hold a large percentage of the oil, eventually bets on the wrong pawn as the SDF Kurds clash with the Iraqi Peshmerga. The Kurds have many differences within themselves as a people. How the US bet on a Kurdistan I still can not understand! As for Greece, its diplomatic strategy on the geopolitical chessboard is another unpleasant reality. Greece should have become Israel 30-40 years ago, but it never did.

The only way i see Armenia surviving being absorbed into Russia is to ask for Turkish support and we know that is never ever going to happen. Despite the Azeri victory its not in Turkish or Armenian interests that what remains of Armenia turns into a Russian colony. But thats how i see it going anyway.

Armenians have always been used as a proxy by Russia for centuries.

The Russians expanding into the Caucasus and Central Asia. The armenians played a big role in Russian expansion especially in the caucasus.

This is why many peoples in the Caucasus like the Azerbaijanis, Georgian, Circassians, Avars, Kumyks and Chechens all hate the Armenians because the Armenians are the ones who opened the gates for the Russians.

That why you dont hear of any armenian resistance against the Russians because they gladly gave their asses to them.
