According to official information from the Ministry of National Defence we have 31 killed terrorists (number will rise) and 6 injured soldiers. Unfortunately we have one martyr due to the operations.
Engineer Specialist Sergeant Aygun CAKAR. No details were released about how he was martyred but most probably it was an IED. Rest in Peace!
The operations are going on as planned. More than 1000 targets were hit by our artillery fire support units and air assets.

Turkey took a hold of four targets in northern Iraq as part of its anti-terror operations in the region, the Defense Ministry said early on April 25.
I think it's important to have some means to keep unwanted allies out of the area.
They may give intel to PKK, or they may try to snoop in on communication, but what's important is that they aren't there.
We need 100% domestic TB2 with engine and gps system etc. and use them heavily for testing and such, develop cheaper and smaller MAM varients for personnel use, and develop some with poisonous gases to be used on places where we don't send soldiers immediately.

I am against using chemical attacks in cities and urban areas, populated areas, but up in mountains and cave systems, I wouldn't mind if it became part of the doctrin. But that is purely my own pov.

Unfortunately the Government like to mix military operations with politics and this is for sure not healthy. I don't like it when that happens but have to share those statements as information. Your concerns are legit. For many years we are hearing the same words over and over again. Only in recent couple of years I saw improvement but its not even closely to the stage where terror is "defeated". In the last two years it looks like they are creating the base for future operations in Northern Iraq and also emphasis was given to internal operations. From now on only time will show what their true intention is.
Mete Yarar plays his game. We know his sympathies and affiliations. The problem with him for me is that it's difficult to know when he is talking bullsh!t and when he is not. Also a major problem is that even if he is Ex OKK personnel, have friends on some places and is a journalist some of his statements are pointing at a serious OPSEC breach on some level. I am not sure if that breach of security is intentional or it is in result of the lack of responsibility of military and security forces personnel but it is a major problem. The most recent example of that was our failed hostage rescue operation where our citizens were martyred in Gara. Just on the start of the operation where our Special Forces probably didn't even completed their helicopter drop Mete Yarar posts in Twitter and says "That night very important people will be rescued". This is not how it's done. There is nothing honorable in revealing such information even if you got it in some way. There are also other examples of that lack of responsibility. I have little respect for him. The little respect that I have for him is coming from his actions during the 2015-2016 city operations. The only thing I respect in his journalism career is that period of his. Other than that he is not in my list for serious sources or analyzers.

The identity of our second martyr in the operations was disclosed. He is Infantry Enlisted Private Mustafa CALIM. He was martyred in a firefight with PKK terrorists. A terrorist was killed on the same spot. Unfortunately a soldier that was injured by IED in the same day also fell martyr. His name is Infantry Lieutenant Mehmet KIVIK. May Allah accepts their martyrdom and give them the Garden of Firdaus!
The operations are still going with our commandos securing more areas. Caves are being destroyed, terrorists killed, weapons, ammunition seized and IEDs neutralized. According to the latest information from the MoD 37 terrorists were neutralized so far. Our soldiers are advancing in a slow and controlled matter because of the harsh terrain, high risk of ambushes and IEDs.

Don't know where to post it, but there is a "connection" to this topic. We can clearly see that Iranian Military especially IRGC elite is openly Anti Turkey more Anti-Turkic. Turkey should watch Iranian moves in Iraq closley especially their proxies (Hashd-al-Shabi). In the near future we will see more and more moves towards the north.
