Turkish railgun(s) have not been integrated to a vessel yet, and i doubt if there is going to be any integration except the one for tests or evaluation purposes which possibly will take place around 2025.

There are other things to be filled before mounting a railgun on a ship. Priority is DIRCM for now but in long term i am sure Turkish Navy will follow the trend and will not fall behind of the technology in 2030s.

Gabya-class air defense range illustration from the bad UN report

Libya operation once again highlighted importance of having an capable navy. Hopefully soon with our own national ships and systems.

1st, Turkey doesn't have 9 G-Class frigates
2nd, not all 8 has VLS, thus ESSM.
3rd, not all of them have been deployed to Libya at once, neither all of the each group (4 with VLS, 4 without)

They put really a great effort to make Turkey look heavily invested and blockading western shores. UN should really chose some good experts who knows how to count, and knows how to prepare inforgraphics without intending to cheat and deflect the truth. I know if objected they would make the below alibi, while obviously their intention was to make it look like Turkey has deployed 9 frigates and blockading the shores.

In fact those points are several observed points for the deployed Turkish frigates there should be 3 or 4, or 3 by 2 cycling each other, hard to call it an "umbrella".

Our Navy did an amazing job. Worked for months with no crew rotation. We made very good use of our limited resources to provide air defense successfully. I wish we had I-Class frigates little earlier.

I've asked before, but the answer eludes me, but why don't we have more Ada-class Corvettes. If we had them with VLS like Pakistan's wouldn't we have more room to maneuver ? Is it the cost/pricetag ?

Would Ada class be able to sail all the way from Turkey to Libya without resupplying. I don't think the waters in Mediterranean would pose a problem.

Will Cenk-S and Piri IRST maybe will look something like this when integrated? PIRI system will have sensors around the ships mast etc.

Pakistan's version was elongated for the VLS like the Ada-Class, and also beefed up to supply required range and additional room they have requested for more crew and more endurance. They had some particular request with the VLS configuration thus it was split towards each side with a passage in between, and it was elevated to fit it on the bow. Is it expensive than Ada-Class yes way more, but it also does more job. But instead of that i would still prefer I-Class.

For ours, they might be innovative with an 8 cell without elongating the hull, with quadpacking 8 Cell would provide sufficient firepower for a corvette. Engineers from DPO keeps telling Ada-Class has room avaliable to grow, so i trust.

Why don't we have more? Navy guys have changed their mind at some point and they preferred the upgraded variant with 16 AShM,longer range and 16 VLS, later they added more systems, more sensors, upgraded sensors etc. Since NTPB's were also purchased for inshore ASW and partially offshore ASW (in future), B-Class ASW corvettes were already replaced in terms of capability.

Even if Koc's (RMK) order was fulfilled, i think only 2 ships or at most 4 was going to be constructed so in the end we would have 4 or at most 6 Ada-Class at the moment while the rest being opted for I-Class just as now.

While some other foreigner sailors visiting the ship has the impression of the ship was fitted above its capacity, let's say some eyes see some spaces occupied while others not. The deck spared for Replenishment at sea is really enormous and i am sure it will be repurposed during MLU.

for the range we don't have much to do in that regard, the ship's tank capacity is fixed and hard to increase it beyond this point but it is packed with a really nice niche propulsion. That is why I-Class was both elongated from bow and midside to make space for extra tanks and have a sufficient range. Libya is nearly 2500 km away from Istanbul and Ada-Class has 6000+ km range. Also it is designed to withstand heavy seas which also has gone through the tests during Africa expedition.

And i think individual range does not matter much when navy has a decent RAS Ship to supply the flotilla en-route without interruption.

No, not pricetag but capabilities!

There are 2 (main) matters

You have to see that Turkish defense industry made an enormous growth in the past 10 years.

When was Milgem developed? It started in 2008 (if I recal well), the tech level we had 13 years ago and now is not comparable anymore. When Milgem was being developed people did not even believe Turkey could design a warship. The designers had to fight against a mountain of taboos, convince not a few but whole Turkey that they could design a ship as good as western counterparts.

If we have to describe Milgem, I would describe it as a revolution that broke many taboos, close mindedness, low self esteem, doubts and vested prejudices. Despite that the designers achieved a miracle. Not only the Turkish people did not believe we could not make a good warship, so did foreigners. They were like "ah you have nice ambitions, but it's more than you can chew."

And now we have become so spoiled to criticise what was deemed impossible just 13 years ago, why was it not build with VLS, why not with own radars, why not with own engine.

Coming to your question of why we do not have more Ada-class corvetters, well we all remember that back 10 years ago Turkish requirement was for 12 Milgem class boats, but half way our navy must have realised once the Milgem was build we can build better, more armed. Milgem had grown the confidence that we could even design our own destroyer TF2000 (that began as let us assemble a foreign design as TF2000 and evolved into a full fledged 100% Turkish design).

Instead of Milgem the choice became like you say a milgem with VLS (I-class), as you know since now foreigners are aware that we can design kick ass battle ships we get all kinds of embargoes to slow it down, no VLS sales, no ESSM etc.

Actually in 95 ~97, the hull and needs were re-shaped in 2001~2003. Project was officially commenced in 2008 when Milgem DPO and Armerkom has reached to a proficiency.
Concept dates back to first years of the millennium.
@Anmdt Any chance of seeing radome on the I-Class?
That was what in my mind since hearing the indigenous S-Band radar. Also @Spook 's edit made it seem like it is going to look perfect.

Ada-class is a frigate more than a corvette, systems/capability wise. We should replace the Burak-class light corvettes, yet some of them still getting modernized. They belong to the museum.
