Until shit goes down again in Palestine and Erdogan starts screaming about Jewish Nazis.Good opportunity for a fresh start.
Israel doesn't trust Turkey and that's going to strain relations going forward regardless.

I'm confused, these guys are drunk and dancing on top of a gate. They are not destroying anything or even touching anything. Why is she suddenly screaming about oppression and moreover, why is she tagging Blinken here? With opposition like this AKP will rule for long time
More or less that is the point, if the opposition mouthpieces and what could figure from replies and other tweets, less sane opposition supporters stick with the her insane narrative or twisting around, akp is safe like fort knox.I'm confused, these guys are drunk and dancing on top of a gate. I've seen drunken youths here dancing on top of graves or even climbing churches, nobody really did anything to them or accuse them of anything except yelling at the boys to get down. Wouldn't be an issue with a mosque either.
Maybe I'm just not culturally sensitive enough.
EDIT: Actually, I understand perfectly well why she is tagging Blinken, it's a subtle campaign across various media to gather support for an American-sponsored "regime change" but living here, I think the US government is seriously underestimating just how wise the average American is to their tricks. Even in conservative strongholds like Texas, people aren't likely to support this. One of the reasons I may not hold high opinions of the US government but I still think the average American is a decent sort.

Either opposition does not have real good position to atrack current elected authorities on legitimate basys or they are not able to articulate good strategy and pr due tranches digged lomg time ago.
Apparantly, this was not some party, it was protest because of music restrictions. I was suprised that music can play after 12 hours midnight in Istanbul.
Mature opposition would support that kind of initiative or proposed it by itself if they are following communal examples from western countries.Erdogan is trying to restrict that but people are protesting because they want to make noise as much as they want.
Surprising that Turkey still has no rules and laws regarding music being played at certain times.
Fresh start can not happen as long as Erdogan is the president, he will find a way to screw over the new Israeli PM, dont worry.Good opportunity for a fresh start.
I would like a clarification pls....Fresh start can not happen as long as Erdogan is the president, he will find a way to screw over the new Israeli PM, dont worry.
Third luck.I would like a clarification pls....
Why would you think that israel would have perfect amicable relationship with turkey after erdo?
Israel is literally the craftiest country in the region, hands down! They will play with egypt, greece, turkey, and cyprus until they squander every drop from them and will eventually throw them away
I mean look at UAE; the UAE sacrificed a lot to establish official diplomatic relationship with them and all what they UAE got is Israel toying with them as if they are owning the UAE
The same is with egypt (look at what their president sacrificed to israel and at the end all what the egyptians got is the israelis funding the great nile dam while providning spyder defejse systems) and the same is with saudi arabia as well
Israel will toy with turkey forever. These guys are pressing turkey on the mideterranean even though that means they themselves will lose a chunk of their borders. When the reoations were at its best, I remember israeli government used to postpone weapons sale to turkey, provide them with malfunctioning weapons, and even such weapons used to send data to the israeli government before it reaches the turkish government who uses them
Like.... when you are friends thapey are against you and when you arent friends they are still against you
So after all this, what makes you think that Israel will ever be an ally to turkey and help turkey get what they want in the mediterranean or geopolitically?
They will just outplay both turkey and greece and probably squander everything from both of them just like the rest
One thing you dont consider is Turkey is none of the countries you mentioned, Turkey and Israel had very benefical relations in the past and can have it in the future too, booth have aligning interests in the region.I would like a clarification pls....

It was like that before AKP came to power, there was a heavy military and intelligence cooperation benefiting booth countries, thats what makes me think that booth can be allies again. So after all this, what makes you think that Israel will ever be an ally to turkey and help turkey get what they want in the mediterranean or geopolitically?

Israel seems to be the only country in the region that doesnt support those groups, even Turkey invited them, talked with them, sang peace songs and even paid their kebab while passing throught south east Turkey and making a show.Only interest that they have aligned nower days is with SDF/pkk kudrs, good luck in changing that one.
Israel does not need turkey for long time ago especially after recent "normalisation" with uae.
No, i am aproaching this rationally and cold harted, it is in the best israel interest idenpendent kurdish state In syria, that is plain sight and no big brainer.Israel seems to be the only country in the region that doesnt support those groups, even Turkey invited them, talked with them, sang peace songs and even paid their kebab while passing throught south east Turkey and making a show.
You guys forgot those facts pretty quick for some reason.

But yeah, evil Israel booh.
Well, Erdogan seems to agree with me though...No, i am aproaching this rationally and cold harted, it is in the best israel interest idenpendent kurdish state In syria, that is plain sight and no big brainer.
Other thing is that Turkey as economic and military techology partner (which is always main one) become obsolete in terms of volumes and needs, so i do not know particular reason for reapproachment for both countries beside cordial international relations, even west public is trying to move away from toxic country like israel is, do not see why Turkey shluld rush into their hug if they do not send iresistable offer, which they will not.
President Erdoğan held a phone conversation with the new President of Israel, Yitzak Hertzog.
Erdogan emphasized that TR-Israel relations are "of great importance for the security and stability of the Middle East".
Erdoğan stated that “despite all differences of opinion, he attaches importance to the continuation of contact and dialogue”.
@500
I think that there is slight difference between usual diplomacy vocabulary and cheering for closer relation, it is is his duty as presidemt to make statements like tnis which is basicaly non obligatory empty talk and fishing in water.Well, Erdogan seems to agree with me though...
Turkish and Israeli EEZ dont cross eachother so everything can be worked out.I think that there is slight difference between usual diplomacy vocabulary and cheering for closer relation, it is is his duty as presidemt to make statements like tnis which is basicaly non obligatory empty talk and fishing in water.
Let me ask, what you can offer israel to accept MAVI VATAN and perusade them to ditch greece, egypt and cyprus. You are in clear conflict with them for that matter and MAVI VATAN is issue of most high national interest if it is not could you tell me why?
Probably handed out to FSA, kinda like how US Army is ''loosing'' all kinds of gears.Have you guys heard about the reports that over 100k guns in total from Turkey's security/armed forces inventories have been lost in the last years? Where are these guns and what they would be used for?
Yep, the pipeline that nobody knows whos gonna pay for because it will be the most expensive of its kind. How can it be worked out as they already signed pipeline deal?
