According to Aliyev, Baykar’s Azerbaijan plant is under construction and will be opened in either 2024 or 2025. It will include production, service, aswell training of UAV operators.

Azerbaijan MOD and Baykar had signed an agreement on joint production in 2023.

Serbian president has confirmed Azerbaijan’s purchase of Nora B52 howitzers. The contract is for 48 units.

Google translation:

- We ordered a lot of "nora", Cyprus bought it, and so did Azerbaijan. It's a 155 mm howitzer. There is a great demand for that ammunition. It could be one of the key advantages for us, if we provide the production and parts we need and speed it all up - said Vučić and added that the "nora" can hit precisely at a distance of 35 km.

He asked the people from SDPR not to be late with their obligations.

- Please get all spare parts and deliver everything ordered on time. We have a big contract with Azerbaijan, not to mention our army. We need many more "Nora", "Miloš 2", dozens and dozens of "Lazar 3", and please deliver them on time - said Vučić.

All this Indian artillery is useless for the Armenians. After the last war, Armenians lost the desire to dance :ROFLMAO: They are sad. And without dancing, they say, Indian howitzers won’t fire

Let's see if our Indian colleagues have a sense of humor
We diss our army's top brass for making our soldiers perform these clown acts during parades and presentations. Unsure what purpose they serve but it's been a practice ever since independence

That being said, India is well aware that Armenia is on the loosing side and it's a gargantuan task to turn things around. We were initially puzzled when Armenians requested to procure MRLS systems since they should really be focusing on countering Turkish drones but it's kinda making sense with their recent procurements of anti-drone and air defense systems, various artillery systems, MRLS, radars, grenades, ATGMs' etc when used in conjunction should be a potent defensive system. There are rumors that further exports will be announced shortly but unfortunately, they might not be sufficient imo since the Azeri-Turkish coalition clearly dominates the aerial theatre and Armenia is in no position to afford fixed or rotary winged weapons systems to go on the offensive.

Well Armenia could opt for peace, it's their choice after all. We don't mind to smash them

I'm not gonna call propaganda because I do not know for sure but I don't really remember any mention of Pakistani special forces during TV interviews. I do know we had volunteers from Pakistan but I don't think any foreign special forces were involved aside from Turkish ones in an advisory capacity. Not like Armenians didn't have help either, you know the deal about Syrian mercenaries? Apparently Armenia had them too - courtesy of Russia. It was revealed by one of the Syrian human rights watchdogs in an article shitting on foreign involvement in Syria.

Either way, Armenia buying up weapons from France and India is interesting because it comes right after Aliyev and Pashinyan's meeting. Wonder what went down behind closed doors there - did we just jointly agree to spit in Russia's face or something?

Russia-Iran axis is increasingly toxic to the west. Deep down even the (pro Iran peace overture) Obama-Rhodes faction of democrat party are reconciled to the failure (and really their part in making it worse, but thats long story)....thats the faction after all in control of Biden right now.

Its why armenia wont approach China either for this stuff. Israel is close with AZ too....and provided it significant arms.

This has all put immense pressure on Armenian lobby here on this side of the pond....as in the end a huge amount of remittances to Armenia come from this continent....and its USD forex that matters in end geopolitically, not Russian ruble.

So Pashinyan and broader armenian establishment are the cart tethered to and pulled by this.
They have tough job dealing with the "greater armenia" forces among them and broader angst in armenian population as it is. The main reason armenian establishment stupidly let pass the best deal they ever got from Azerbaijan in late 1990s peace-efforts.

So moving to Russia + Iran stuff will be an "all in" move as seen by the west and will come with penalties on Armenian remittance economy.

This is why I judge armenians to be making overtures as they are to AZ+TR to bide their time in interim but at same time arming up where possible from entities like France and India.

This keeps all finance to Armenian economy from North America lubricated as possible. France is bit of maverick within NATO to begin with (and has its own backdrop of relations with Russia/USSR) and India is friendly to US and West.

So basically US doesn't have to directly look like its involved in situation similar to Georgia earlier which attracted Russian retribution during the Bush era itself. Israel can't be directly tapped here (Jewish lobby seriously abhors armenian narrative of ww1 coming into competition with Holocaust as a genocide etc).....so France and India make sense to be the intermediaries of taking more of the armenian establishment away from Russia-Iran axis relatively speaking. There is huge Armenian population within Russia of course too, so its complicated stuff in end for tiny country....especially to try dictate.

Kartal and others are correct, only way to solve this is Armenia makes full normalised relations with AZ + Turkiye. Reality (of your population size, country size, geography) prevails against delusional exceptionalism and/or excessive victimisation narrative. It is too small of country to shape the neighbourhood, it has to live as a neighbour.

TuAF TB2 is currently monitoring Armenia. In the past few days, different TuAF surveillance assets has been monitoring Armenia on the Zangezur and Yerevan axis.

I believe the decision has been made to use force, given Armenia's inability to understand diplomacy.

Very strong statements from Aliev!

Azerbaijani President Aliyev: After destroying the nest of separatism in Karabakh, we were attacked by people like Macron and Borrell All this is part of the anti-Azerbaijan policy of France, which wants to demonize our country

"After ensuring our territorial integrity and sovereignty and destroying the hotbed of separatism in Karabakh, we were attacked. We are accused by Macron, Borrell and others like them.

Double standards have become a commonplace situation for the European Union (EU). The anti-Azerbaijan statements of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell do not reflect the truth.

Azerbaijan considers these statements as a veiled threat to our country. Borrell said; 'If Azerbaijan attacks Armenia, it will see the painful consequences. Where did Borrell get the information that Azerbaijan was planning to attack Armenia? We don't have such a plan. What is said is Macron's slander. All this is part of the anti-Azerbaijan policy of France, which wants to demonize our country.

I think Russia has accepted the new realities. Ukraine also wants to ensure its territorial integrity. Germany and other countries are sending weapons to Ukraine. You all say; Ukraine must ensure its territorial integrity. What about our territorial integrity? Is this issue less important than the Ukraine issue?

When we started to liberate our own lands, these three countries (OSCE Minsk Group co-chaired by France, the USA and Russia) started to put pressure on us. Each of them used different tools to divert us from our path. They didn't want us to save our lands. When we ended separatism in September last year, they made a mistake again. Some of them are still doing it wrong. I'm talking about the USA and France.

I think Russia now understands very well what is happening and accepts the new realities. The USA and France must do the same, otherwise the situation will not go as they planned. These countries should work with Azerbaijan, the leading country of the South Caucasus."

Türkiye shouldn't be quiet here. If this borrell and macaroni says there will be painful consequences then Türkiye should tell the same goes for them if they attack Azerbaijan...

Azerbaijan has purchased an Israeli-made Sky Dew balloon to detect missiles and aircraft, Minval.az reports.

Sky Dew's primary mission is to detect cruise missiles, drones and other advanced aerial threats flying at low altitudes, providing early warning. For this purpose, the balloon is equipped with an AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) radar, capable of detecting objects at a great distance.

The balloon can conduct continuous surveillance for several days and is capable of tracking up to 500 targets with a detection range of more than 250 km.

European parliament adopted a resolution to develop close relations with Armenia. The same document also describes ethnic cleansing by Azerbaijan and destruction of cultural monuments:

Strongly disagrees with the tone of some recent statements by leaders of the Commission and the European Council congratulating President Aliyev for his re-election without mentioning the absence of democracy in Azerbaijan and misleadingly qualifying Azerbaijan as a reliable partner; affirms that these statements do not reflect the position of the European Union and should never have been made in the light of the ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh by Azerbaijan; urges the Vice-President of the Commission / High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and the European External Action Service to continue the negotiations for a renewed partnership agreement conditionally, if Azerbaijan has demonstrated its genuine readiness to respect the rights and security concerns of the Karabakh Armenians and has
contributed to substantial progress towards a comprehensive and sustainable peace
agreement with Armenia;

Prime Minister of Armenia Pashinyan visited Azerbaijani villages occupied by Armenia and met with Armenians who settled in the houses of Azerbaijanis. He called on his occupiers to leave these places and return 4 villages to Azerbaijan. Pashinyan said that if we do not return their villages to them today, then a war will begin at the end of the week.
Pashinyan; -“I know what will happen at the end of this war,”

This is what Pashinyan should have done even before the war in 2020 - return occupied Karabakh to Azerbaijan and avoid military defeat and national shame for Armenia.
But it is too early for “peace-loving” Europeans, especially the French, to rejoice at possible peace. True, the thief himself admits that yes, it was he (Armenia) who stole Azerbaijani land, but... France may not agree with the poor Armenians. Paris, after the French began to be expelled from... French (!!!) Africa, declared Armenia a priority of its foreign policy.
France decided to openly intervene here – in the South Caucasus. France found new Africans here - Armenians.
What can happen?!

Pashinyan: “I know what will happen at the end of this war.”
(This is for the information of the French Don Quixote-Macron  )
