Morocco has requested 600 Manpads of the Stinger FIM-92K block 1 type. The maximum value of the deal is 825 million USD.
“It was noteworthy that the price of a single missile corresponds to $1.3 million in the agreement, which does not include gripstocks, which are the firing units of the missiles.
This amount, which corresponds almost to the unit price of a medium/long-range missile, is seen as a reflection of the increasing armament activities around the world on the prices of defense industry products.”
So, if firing mechanisms are not included in the deal, can we assume that Moroccon order is mainly a contract of resupply/restock of missiles?
