The Germans replace the Americans, who are already on site with the Patriots.
Yes, as part of NATO air defences. So, the Germans are taking over from the yanks. As NATO members. For NATO air defences. Get it now?

Here, some relevant reading for you lad:

I dont believe any1 talked about this yet politics aside Hulusi Akar, Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye National Defense Commission (TBMM Head of National Defense Commision) and our old MOD posted a few pictures last night and the pictures clearly included the SAMP-T on it from this Im coming to the conclusion that we bought the SAMP-Ts and I think itll be announced at the NATO Summit in Ankara. (like i said politics aside)

Also the 3rd picture is the original picture used to make the picture I am talking about.

Honestly Efes is more of a Show than actual training but nice to see Akrep 1000g used as a search radar. The weird thing is the only complete system here is the Hisar A autonomous
Nowadays all big exercises of ours are like that; because they are also used as large sales demos. Visitors and participants from 50+ countries came for Efes 26.

Re completeness, that's the nice thing about this kind of architecture; nothing needs to be "complete". Going by this entirely for show photo, Korkut doesn't need a third gun vehicle. Towed guns can be entirely slaved to Korkut command vehicle. Hisar-O is a complete system but missing 2 more launchers. Akrep 1000 can be used as the search radar for all of them at the same time, I believe even including the anti drone pickups. If anything, the poor Kalkan radar is basically not needed in this setup.

Basically, none of what's shown here is a complete battery in the organizational sense for their respective users, but they are entirely interoperable and will act as intended.

True but as someone that was the highest ranking military official of the country I think he would know what pictures to use I mean I think even someone like him wouldnt be dumb enough to make the SAMP-T seem like ours if it aint?

Doubtful he personally did it more likely someone from his staff or they hired some outside media/design office.

We have a video of a Serhat counter battery radar being destroyed 5 meters next to a Kangal from last year by a drone. Stuff gets blown up, it's war.

I was wondering are these electrically propelled small UAVs radiate enough heats for IR missiles (like HISAR A) to lock onto?

They generate heat up to 180°C on their magnets as this is usually how much the magnet can take without failing. They will surely pick this up in close distance but how close needs to be tested.

Even though the HİSAR getting hit proves nothing in terms of the systems effectiveness, it's certainly bad PR.

Obviously HİSAR is designed for different targets and anti drone systems weren't present.

If we want to avoid this in the future we should ensure clients purchase a comprehensive array of air defences and are trained to use them effectively.

Also, nowadays any HVT, especially longer range air defences, need to be accompanied by anti-fpv systems. Otherwise they're just sitting ducks.
