Working on it. Spare time for it (both jet engine and china history which I think are what I have committed to for now) has been short. Especially long stretches that I generally need. But more time will come for it soon I think. What I'm thinking is with the jet engine one, I can finish up...

Bro, I already said my piece. I don't care much to discuss specific journalists actions. They are not paragons of truth, more influence they have, generally the more agenda they have. So people should have diverse listening board to balance that.....simple. I let society be judge of it in end...

Awesome work @Saiyan0321 (at first glance) , I now have quality reading for later :D

Quoting for @rainmaker convenience to see my thoughts on the issue overall:

Our govt (especially at state level which have mandate on health affairs for citizenry) dropped the ball for sure. This was added to by very dumb decisions on opening up religious gatherings, election rallies etc....when policy should have focused opening up only economic livelihood activity at...

It's big step forward for Turkey's capability for sure. Congrats to Turkey. There is lot here to research further for Turkey in how they plan and network the sensoring for optimal regime of use.

Far easier. The severe design challenges (from multiple sustained heat+stress cycles leading to a major design challenge known as creep on top of regular fatigue) in the turbine are much lower since its just one time use as just one example. Materials available to produce from expand...

@Raptor lets drop issue now, it has been resolved. We all get heated from time to time, we are all only human. I have learned much from @GoatsMilk in previous posts he has made and continues to make as he has interesting perspective, so it is why I even engaged him on this. i.e I tend to only...

Again it depends how Israel has factored in the Hezbollah threat vis a vis Hamas. I would think they monitor (during peacetime) and pre-empt or early-interdict lot of critical stuff (regarding these kind of launchers) lot more during wartime. Iron dome is not really meant for "receiver from...

I wonder the credibility coming from NATO-member (with long history to read about w.r.t NATO)....and the complexes out there in the open and aired out even more in this forum regarding it daily? Or all that is supposed to be explained away as "pragmatic" suddenly instead of "lackey"? What...

It depends on Indonesia being real toward what are the likeliest threats. Do LPD and/or LHA fill that role compared to say destroyers, frigates, corvettes, subs....and more specifically the sensors and weapons these bring in concentrated area for both concentrated and dispersed threat from...

Exposed how? It's limitations were always known w.r.t stated and designed role to buy more time and buffer for IDF mobilisation tier next....(a buffer which did not exist prior to iron dome). It discriminated and engaged about 30% of incoming targets (those actually headed towards Israeli...

It is good idea, maybe a mod/admin can move/start new thread for posts 16, 18-20 and call it "Anecdote thread" "Member Real life experiences etc" in either this section (general) or hobbies.... You story would be good starting point for that thread, since these posts are kind of off-topic for...

Essentially (if this poll is accurate)... I'd say about 10% of people are complete idiots when it comes to reality w.r.t animals:

@crixus MMS/INC admin had much cosier relationship with the same media ecosystem (MSM). Modi comes in and upset lot of that, so skewed response in each crisis is not unknown feature by MSM. There are of course pro-Modi MSM too that go on the other spectrum too. Point is people should...
