Sheikh Said I dont believe he wanted the Ottoman Empire back.

All he wanted was a Kurdistan that was run by Sharia Law.

Sheikh Said what he fought for is contradicts a lot of Kurdish groups who they mostly fight for a Kurdistan thats either run by communism or socialism rather than Islamic Law.

But still the Kurds see him as a national hero regardless of the ideology.

Same with Seyid Riza who was an Alevi mainly fought to keep Kurdish Alevis and their feudal order.

Whatever the figure the Kurds see them as heroes who fought for their homes.

Good people of defencehub, I'm putting together a video on Turkish operations into Syria. I don't have the editing skills to do flashy animations so it's basically going to be slideshow. Think of a cross between these two videos.

With regards to the stuff I want to cover, Leo2 losses in Euphrates Shield, development of SNA, the entire Spring Shield UAV turkey shoot are all on the table. But the thing I want to delve deep and really explain is the CONOPS aspect of the operations, with some interesting phenomena that occured.

The problem is, there are little to no good sources. I can create a very basic outline for each operation and the things I remember from them, but I only came across some scattered sources. I also have trouble with deleted links. I need a proper day-by-day flow of events or something close to that.

Anyone want to help a brother out is welcome. I've already invested in a quality microphone for this, so hopefully it pans out.
