Their heads will blow when they study Islamic history when Muslim rulers drank alcohol and kept concubines.

Lets not forget how they hanged Muslim scholars just for speaking out.

If only a lot of people studied their history realise its not black and white. A lot of our Muslim rulers were good but many were also sinful.

They were humans at the end of the day. They were products of their time.

The time of Ertugurl was a harsh time with clans fighting clans, mortality rates were low then you have the Mongol invasion.

The thing is we dont even know if Ertugurl was religious. Because a lot of the nomads barely practiced their religion.

Islamic World if you lived in Urban areas you had a more grasp on knowledge ccompared to rural areas due to education opportunities. A lot of bedouins even lacked Islamic knowledge because they lived outside urban areas.

No doubt that nomads were tough warriors I guess thats why so Muslim writers praised them despite slandering them for being low on knowledge and living savage ways.

But were always praised for their martial prowress also not being corrupted to civilisation while living a life that was simple.
