Azerbaijan is one of the few states that supports Turkey without questions and is a nation whom not only is rich in oil and gas but also has lots of similarity in terms of culture, demography, and religion with Turkey. Moreover, it is anti-Iran and anti-Armenia which are Turkey's enemies in the first place. Ruthermore, Azerbaijan is the gateway to other Turkic states and provides a decent control over the Caspian sea

KK with his team of so called "economic" and "geopolitical" experts throws Azerbaijan out of the window for a ferry route and giving radical Iran a higher priority than Azerbaijan by adding it in his new road plan lool, and I wont even get into the fact that KK promised a direct railway with China even though there has been an operational one for nearly 2 years. We are not the US it is not our duty to "save" people from dictators or Kings. Democracy comes from within with the will of the people and can't be dictated from outside. It is not our job to tell how countries shall rule themselves and who should run a country. If people really wants Aliyev gone they will do it.

The project of Kılıçdaroğlu bypasses Azerbaijan and makes Iran a key country. This is in line with the Chinese and European agendas. I don't think Israel will be happy.
We should either use the Zangezur corridor or use existing Tiflis-Baku road. Setup two big ports one in Kazakstan and one in Turkmenistan. One of the ports should service Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and China route the other one should service the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan route.

Turkish companies can build/enlarge ports in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan with the help of local companies. Turkish dockyards can build cargo ships to carry goods using the Caspian Sea.
