Unfortunately, the rescued people have a pretty high mortality rate in the next 48h after rescue.
Watched a report of the German rescue team and the lady they saved that sadly died shortly after.

Just now, at the 165th hour of the earthquake, 48-year-old Naime Şakar was rescued, but if I understand correctly, her 3 children who were under the same rubble unfortunately lost their lives. May God give health and patience to the mother. It is very difficult, cannot find anything to write.

Turkish Airlines have pledged 1000 residences within a year.

Baykar also pledged the same amount in the same time frame.

Kudos!

Spanish rescue team is leaving the country, kudos to them for their food work.

Reasons;
Turkish officials simply suggested them to leave, they want to stay and work.

Why;
Spanish team insists they have life signals from some ruins and wants to investigate further for rescue operations thus wants buildings left untouched. Quareled with Turkish officials.

They are advised to leave, telling that the aid will be accepted in goods and rescue operation will continue with local teams.

Meanwhile someone in field is rushing to clean the rumbles, spanish team rescued some people from a building that was about to cleaned out by cranes.

And make a guess who has told ' give me a year to clean this out'. i didn't know it has meant to bury people alive.

Yap işlet devret? what happened to build operate transfer public private partnerships. So the Gang of Five scooped the funds... Corruption and depravity in Turkiye hit a peak recently! I can't tolerate to see how shameless are these guys, even after a disaster like this they are still selfish and ruthless.
This works for highways (also demolished after an earthquake that it was planned to serve as emergency access road but anyway)

Listen brother, the story is quite nice and the sentiment is laudable, but I urge you please route through a better reference than this human waste of space. This guy is talking about other people donating $30M while himself stealing much more from his own impoverished country.

Edit: My apologies though I totally ignored your point. That would be sad if true. Remember though, corruption is best fought with an emphasis on facts and evidence, if we rely on speculation the truly corrupt will always out-maneuver us as narratives and ambiguity are their mastered art.

Final nail in the coffin for already ruined economy. I admire the ignorance and stupidity level of decision makers and people supporting them, they keep going back to same level and lose all progress every 20 years, loss of businesses, human resources and structures, just 10% of this amount would be enough to strengthen the buildings but you prefer to believe corrupt people (still), and they keep filling their pockets while country sinks to the bottom.

So you take all risks sending your army to save your brothers from being a subject to genocide.
You sacrifice a lot of martyrs, money and equipment
You face sanctions and hardship from the world yet you stick to your principles.
You share everything with them, provide protection, water, electricity etc.
You get denied access to EU mainly because of that.

Then you come and laugh at a disaster that cost thousands of lives than calls us "Mainland Turks" as if he was one.
Maybe it was a stupid thing saving your ancestors from being massacred, but it was our principles and faith, of which you obviously and shamelessly lack.

I would say more, but I'd definitely get banned.

I think this will lead to a revolution in housing.

Get rid of apartments and skyscrapers.

Embrace single storey houses.
