Turkish layered anti-drone concept is what Ukraine needs at present. As far as I know there is currently no sophiaticated layered system developed by European countries against saturation kamikaze drone attack. Expensive systems like IRIS or NASAMS were not developed for this threat.

3x TB2s hanging over Kiev would have a lot of time to find, track and engage these slow-moving targets.

Maybe they can do the job of Ukraine, but these systems are not enough even in our inventory.

Let's say the EU or the USA gave us money to "hey, produce them". Even in that case, it will take years for them to be produced in quantities that will meet the needs of Ukraine.

I think there are only 2 things Ukraine can do as a precaution against them. i) build a large number of shelters and store supplies. ii) To destroy the Russian army as soon as possible and expel it from the country.

I think this is an idea worth trying. If it integrates with the radar network and makes automated decisions that TB2 swarm, then this tactic might work.

I wonder if we would export Korkut to Ukraine if they asked us. With today's drone attacks modern systems like Korkut will be really important.

Korkut is al ready battle proven, before it was operational it was tested excellent against syrian and isis artilley rockets. Only problem was the bullet bounced away when it make a hit. Libya was a good test place it did worked good.

-it have long range zone of attack
-it is Battle proven
-It CAN FRY most of military platforms at close range. This was already applied against russians platforms in Syria

Korkut is ideal against cheap Iranian kamikaze drones. Russians have 300 of the SHAHIDs and they are going to purchase more 2000!!!!
Imagine how many SAM of HİSAR/IRIS-T/NASAMS would you have to use? How much would those cost?

Small caliber CIWS would be a good solution to Iranian Shahids.
25mm MKE and the new 50 cal Canik M2 QCB and even lesser guns or 40mm grenade launched from automated towers should do the job I guess.

According to Zelensky himself, Baykar will build a production facility in Ukraine where not only Tb2s but also Akinci and MIUS will be produced.

Moreover, Turkey started the donation of a decent chunk of kirpis armoured vehicles to Ukraine; in addition to the fact that Turkey is still building the Ada class corvettes for Ukraine

The current kamikaze wave attack by Russia has 3 main goals
1- Destroy as much infrastructure as possible in order to create a psychological attack against the Ukrainians and to prevent appropriate living conditions for Ukrainians during the winter; this will create a major refugee influx to Europe that Russia is betting that it will force the EU to stop aiding Ukraine

2- Dry the EU and US funds in Ukraine by using cheap drones that will eventually be countered by expensive SAM systems and will not be healthy for Ukrainian Armed Forces

3- Use the massive numbers of cheap drones to locate all possible SAM systems around and within KYIV city in order to destroy them all at once in case of a renewed invasion towards the city and end the war in one quick movement

Point 3 is not correct. the ruskies have no capability to DEAD Ukrainian air defences.

New 30x113mm cal Auto-cannon with smart ammunitions plus AESA plates( M-SHORAD Stryker) would be efficient however 35mm ammunition has longer range so you could use your expensive radar device immensely.

Without radars the guns are useless against kamikaze drones and the radars are expensive.

Optical AI trackers can be useful instead of radars. Tesla motors is using optical processing for collision detection rather than radars. Imaging infrared or visible light processing can do a good job for slow flying objects. If the object is detected at a close distance a smaller caliber gun may be able to shoot it down in time.

What about Alka? We did shoot down a Chinese drone with it. It seems to be perfect against these suicide drones.

I am thinking either we are keeping it top secret or the energy usage and kill time is not ideal yet.
