Why not an AAG with very high range, firerate, reaction time and intelligent munitions?

There are Korkut turrets, Korhan turrets laser gun, and the Gökdemir air defense system. It seems there is a good amount of production of existing systems and prototype production of new systems.

The single 35mm turrets with acoustic detection systems are also interesting. Possibly for the YN ZMA tests?

BTW It seems like the Gökdemir air defense system will use Gökdoğan missiles land launched versions. The primary difference between Gökdoğan air-launched and land-launched versions are redesigned rocket motor. It will have vertical launch capability.

Yes but i'm more interested in two being produced at the same time. No active program currently exists for them except for YN ZMA. They must be getting ready for the tests of the vehicles, finally.

It is impossible to produce a laser with a power of 0.315 kilowatts from such a laser weapon. This must be a patent for a different project. Even the picture itself implies that ALKA will easily switch to a 5 kilowatt laser weapon.
It is a lab prototype for patent application. Aselsan can easily use more powerful laser diodes for a more powerful laser beam. Scalability is the important part.


Figure-6 shows an example graph illustrating the power versus current of a laser diode stage comprising preferably ten laser diodes each. When this graph is analyzed, It is seen that the average power of a laser diode stage is 38 W.

Figure-7 an example graph showing the current strength of a laser diode package described in the invention is given. When this graph is analyzed, the mean power of a laser diode package that includes at least three laser diode stages is 104 W on average.

Figure-8 shows an example graph illustrating the power versus current of a concentrated high power laser beam pack obtained by horizontally multiplexing three laser diode packages described in the preferred embodiment of the invention. When the graph in question is examined, it is seen that the power of the concentrated high-power laser beam packet formed by horizontally multiplexing three laser diode packages is 315 W on average.

When Figure-6, Figure-7 and Figure-8 are examined, it is seen that thanks to the method of forming a concentrated high-power laser beam developed within the scope of this invention, high power can be obtained from a concentrated high-power laser beam package obtained by using at least one low power laser diode array and multiplexing them in parallel and horizontally.

Bunch of information on Gökdemir, supposed to be similar to NASAMS.
Utilizing Gökdogan missiles with a HISAR-RF seeker and an estimated range of 30-35 km.

It would be interesting to comparatively examine Gokdemir's capabilities with HISAR O+/RF in details.

For now, i can see one obvious advantages of HISAR O+/RF is duel pulse motors.

Another one would be HISAR O+ IIR interceptor has 2x more range compared to ground launched Bozdogan.

However, equipped with Gokdogan and Bozdogan interceptors Gokdemir offer more flexibility and interservice commonality with TurAF.
