Since AA gokdoğan is 100km than land lunched is around 40km but aslo Hisar O is around 40 km .

İf Gökdemir is equalant to İron Dome, the missile should be cheaper and shouldnt be made from expensive A2A.

So the missile is not derivative of expensive A2A missile or Gökdemir is not rival of IronDome ..

Different seek head ? Does it gokdemir similar to Iron dome ?

Land launched range is 1/3 of air launched range.
GOKDEMIR probably has effective range of 30km.
NASAM uses AIM120 C-5/7 which also has similar air launched range to GOKDOGAN. And AIM-120 C-5/7 has land laucned effective range of 30km.

ASELSAN has developed the innovative air and missile defense system GÜRZ, which offers multiple interceptors against very low and low altitude air threats.

ASELSAN will share its capabilities in communications, air defense, avionics, electro-optics, electronic warfare, radar and unmanned systems with local and foreign visitors at the 16th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2023) to be held in Istanbul on July 25-28.

ASELSAN, which carries out a series of projects under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries in order to provide Turkey's layered air defense with domestic and national resources, has added a new one to its solutions.

The GÜRZ Air and Missile Defense System will be exhibited at IDEF 2023 as ASELSAN's innovative air and missile defense system that offers multiple interceptor (cannon and missile) use against very low and low altitude air threats.

GÜRZ is located on an armored 8x8 rubber-wheeled platform and stands out with its superior technological features. The system will work against UAVs, helicopters, warplanes, cruise missiles and air-to-ground ammunition.

With the changing war conditions, the need for air and missile defense systems with high mobility increased. The GÜRZ Air and Missile Defense System will protect both fixed facilities and convoys in transit against air threats. Thanks to the system's superior target detection, diagnosis and tracking capabilities, its preventive set, advanced threat assessment and weapon allocation solutions, it offers high destruction power against threats in a cost-effective architecture.

GÜRZ Air and Missile Defense System; It consists of components such as 35 millimeter Air Defense Gun (Particle Ammunition Family ATOM, HEI, TP), 4 Very Low Altitude Air Defense Missiles, 4 Low Altitude Air Defense Missiles, 4 Active Phased Array (AESA) Search Radar, fire control radar, electro-optical sensors and data link.

Aselsan GURZ would cost tens of millions of dollars. So add just 1-2 million for AKKOR and 4 ATGMs to make it the best lean mean fighting machine there is. Why not? We already have 4 AESA radars required for AKKOR and EOTS for ATGMS.

4 AESA radars, a tracking radar, EO, 2 different missiles, 35mm gun with ATOM. This big boy might be the most comprehensive anti drone/cruise missile system ever.

It will be very expensive for sure and I don't see us buying this anytime soon. Saudis however would love it for their oil facilities.

We of course could. But air defence is very expensive. As we literally have no idea how much the components cost each, we couldn't assume a unit price for Gürz. I'd think each of those Aselsan AESA radars come at least 1-3 million per unit. This will be an expensive piece of equipment.

If the army and MoD followed Ukraine War closely, they must know that good, modern, layered air defense is critical. But the cost is the silver bullet here. We are woefully unprepared for precision strikes against our critical infrastructure.

Aselsan's air defense systems proliferated recently. If my understanding is correct,

Gürz: Low altitude defense with 35 mm cannon, Sungur, Bozdogan

Gökdemir: Medium altitude defense with Gökdogan, works complementary to existing Hisar

Gökberk: Laser weapon for short range defense

Göksur: Searam equivalent

The 10 years of dedication and effort in this area is one of the issues that raises our hopes for our work in other areas.
