Iron Dome has discardable nose cone.Is this possible for Hisar A?
The Discardable Nose is developed for the Umkhonto Missile to reduce the drag and extend the missile range
Denel Dynamics develops expendable nose cone to increase missile range - defenceWeb
Denel Dynamics interns have developed a nose cone to reduce drag and thus increase the range of the Umkhonto infrared guided missile by more than ten kilometres. The expendable nose cone will be fitted to the Umkhonto EIR surface-to-air weapon. This was revealed during the Denel Dynamics Interns...www.defenceweb.co.za
Denise Wilson, Denel Dynamics deputy chief executive, said that the nose cone has been on the cards for a while and will be incorporated onto future missiles. This should increase range from 25 to 35 kilometres for the Umkhonto EIR.

Test on hitting target succesfully completed at 25 km an uav.
The targets that a Hisar-O+ will encounter are not high-flying supersonic planes but subsonic fighters, helicopters, UCAV's and PGM's at mostly low and medium altitude.
What's the maximum range, flying altitude and detection range?
So it can't hit high-flying supersonic planes and supersonic missile?
Operational range 25km
Detection range 40-60 km
I was asking about Hisar- O+. Wasn't it supposed to have increased range like 50km or so?
That is a very good question. As I recall it, SSB changed requirements after the first Hisar A, thus we got the + variants, but I do not believe we have ever built an O variant. So I think the O+ that we’re talking about is O variant, and that may be the explanation to why the specs are similar today. Then what's the difference between Hisar- O and O+?
Not saying it can't, but the reaction time and effective range and altitude will be reduced. So it can't hit high-flying supersonic planes and supersonic missile?
Did we ever build a Hisar O variant that has different properties than the O+ variant ?Hisar-O+ (IIR) has a disposable nose cone. It prevents heat build-up at the front of the missile and protects the lens. The seeker lens has a thin film coating that needs protection.
Hisar-O+ system can launch 2 different missiles IIR and RF. IIR has a 25km range. RF 35-40 km
Iron Dome has optic seeker (radar seeker is too expensive). You can see separation of nose cone in this video (0:57-0.59):İron dome uses a Ku band radar seeker. No need to discard nose cone.

As u can see nose cone is made of metal, not transparent for radar waves:

This is very very old brochure. In modern brochures u wont find RF seeker.
1) All modern missile systems use radio command for midcourse guidance (except very short range). That does not make them vulnerable, on contrary. Pantsir uses radio command for final guidance as well.Tamir missile uses the most simple radar seeker , i would call it almost proximity fuse. The missile is mainly guided by main radar via datalink, Under electronic attack Tamir missiles are very vulnerable.

Remember how PANTSIR's 57E6 radio command missiles failed under EW in Karabağ.
Since Palestinians don't have EW capabilities , currently it is the cheapest and reasonable way to engage artillery rockets for Israel.
Just a tactical cheap solution. Tamir missile costs 30-40k USD.
İ can't see E/O here1) All modern missile systems use radio command for midcourse guidance (except very short range). That does not make them vulnerable, on contrary. Pantsir uses radio command for final guidance as well.
2) There was no Pantsir in Karabakh.
3) Tamir has EO seeker.
