Thanks to @Stimpy75.

A clear image of Sungur Very Short Range Air-Defence Missile mockup. There were people stating that it was a copy of the US FIM-92 Stinger Missile. This comparison should hush that group up.

Hisar-RF will be ready by the end of this year.
A new missile that positions itself between Hisar-RF and Siper will be ready next year( probably in Q3 or Q4). Depending on what you want and terminology you can call it Hisar-U or another thing. I call it Hisar-U as the long-range missile is renamed to Siper by Erdo.
Siper missile will be ready in 2023. (Probably in Q3 or Q4)

AIR(low altitude radar), EIRS(long-range early warning radar system), and multi-functional fire control radars of Siper air-defense system will be delivered in 2022.
Siper fire control center is ready and photographed at IDEF. AIR, STR, EIRS and multi-functional fire control radar uses GaN T/R modules. Currently, there are no delivery date for high-altitude radar.

Ehpod is on trials. F-16 AESA radar is expected to outperform APG-83.

anka i sisteminde neden kanada'dan önemli parçalar var? (esm) aselsan üretemez mi?
Look at the production date of Anka-I there lies your answer. Nationalization is a work in progress. You have to produce a product with whatever systems are available at that time. After that comes the nationalization part. At the current position, we don't need Canada for anything. By the way, that component you mentioned is not a system-critical component which means you can switch the logistics chain without losing the ability to produce the product.

So Levent is the name of the Naval Launcher. The missiles that it will be able to launch will be Sungur and a tube-launched surface-to-air version of Bozdogan.

Bozdoğan or Bozdoğan based missiles won't be used in the Levent system.

Listen from 1.30 he clearly states that.

He literally said that "at the same time we will make changes ON THE SUNGUR MISSILE, It will have a longer range and a RF seeker will be introduced (last time i checked Bozdogan doesn't have an RF seeker)

I don't know why people take words of reporters over the words of fucking General Director of Roketsan.

MBDA open to cooperation with Turkey

MBDA-IDEF-21-800x534.jpg

By Paolo Valpolini

With the mock-up of the latest development from the company, including the Aster 30 B1NT and the CAMM-ER, the MBDA stand confirmed the intention of the European missile company to play a role in Turkey. “We fully understand the Turkish will to fully develop a national missile capability, Roketsan being the main player, however we are always available to discuss common business,” Michele Di Nunzio, Vice-President Eurasia for MBDA tells EDR On-Line on Day 1 of IDEF 2021.

“We look to a win-win approach, where MBDA and Turkey can partner to make business, not to a simple transfer of technology,” he explains. The European group can definitely bring some technology bricks to Turkey, while the latter can facilitate the penetration in some markets.

One topic might be that of the Future Turkish Fighter, where Turkey is cooperating with BAE Systems on the UK as well as with other British companies. “This is of course of interest also for MBDA, aiming not only at the local market but at potential export opportunities for the TF-X and its weapons package,” the MBDA representative underlines.

Another issue is ground-based air defence. “MBDA is ready to analyse and identify possible solutions, that should again be a win-win for both parties,” Di Nunzio said. For over 10 years Eurosam and MBDA carried out feasibility analysis, therefore the European will is obvious. “Should the countries find an agreement, then Turkey shall profit of some windows of opportunity,” the MBDA Vice-President for Eurasia says. Currently the B1 NT is in the initial stage of development, while the EC (Enhanced Capabilities) programme has just started.

MBDA is also ready to propose a business case for a system based on its CAMM-ER missile, i.e. for the upgrade of the Perry-class frigates in service with the Turkish Navy; this missile was already selected by the Italian Army and Air Force for GBAD use.

Based on what, your expectations?

He says Sungur's range will be extended and an RF seeker will be added. He doesn't link the extended version of Sungur to Levent at all.

It does actually, as it's part of the Goktug family of Air-to-Air missiles. But that doesn't have anything to do with Bozdogan IIR version which the researcher is talking about.

lol.. Perhaps because we haven't tuned our ears to one's own expectations.

Turkey has reached a certain stage in the production of air defense systems.
sungur, hisar, siper...
Recently, it has been talked about that an additional S400 agreement will be made with Russia and that these second-party missiles will be produced in Turkey.
These developments whet the appetite of MBDA. because turkey has shown that it can do these things without them. they want to get a share from the projects (pie) in Turkey by not staying out of the game in this process.
but there is still the possibility of delaying or stopping the projects by placing an embargo on Turkey in the future. If it is guaranteed by an agreement that this will not happen, it may be more correct to continue with European companies.

Years of R&D, successful tests and hard work should go to the bin because they offer missiles now, cmon they can't be that stupid.

Turkey is no more a country that needs a full system ..they can offer critical subs or joint production ..but if they think that they can still sell some medium rang missile in turkey then they are wrong

We should not stop R&D studies. As soon as we begin to work together ve sure they will try to slow down the projects.
If we go on working indigenously with this speed can reach our most of targets.
We can not trust them. They will do the same thing; cheating.

The missile won't be called sungur when it is expanded to the size of bozdogan, there were people who did claim sungur can be a ram, however even roketsan's images from idef is falsifying this :).

They will either make equilavent of bozdogan, or use bozdogan as the base (considering roketsan share in the business they have sufficient know how on certain matters too). From aselsan's comment we can see the requirement can only be fullfilled by a missile with kinetics that can only be supplied by a missile in the class of bozdogan.

Even levent system's image host 2 missiles,
-one of them is sungur-N, a missile with IIR seeker and extended range and other attributes as requested by Navies, it exactly looks like sungur, same canard confguration same diameter. This is going to be shorad on certain platforms.

-The other bigger one is the true RAM with point defense capability, which roketsan is going to develop from scratch or partner with Tubitak and use their architecture as the base like Aselsan. Even roketsan's ram missile has got front canards like bozdogan, this gives a slight idea on what is required in a ram.
