You are making wild claims without any proof or evidence. If someone dies and Russia share his name, doesn't mean Russians actually killed him. Poland officially confirmed the death of an army general due to natural cause. Believe it or not, people dies for normal reasons. And Frankly, Poles are lot more trustworthy than Russians.

Nope, Ukraine operates four MIM-104 batteries as of now and it is well known that those are deployed at Kiev and Kharkiv. Sometimes one is utilized for SAM ambushes.

Three Iskander SRBM strike happened in two Ukrainian air bases destroying several aircrafts in July and August. Those bases are Myrhorod and Dolgintsevo. Neither is remotely close to Kiev or Kharkiv.

SARP with 40 mm ATOM

With AI-powered algorithms and open system architecture, the SARP Remote Controlled Weapon Systems become indispensable in the field by enabling early detection and neutralization of drone threats.

I wonder if Mete can be turned into a small guided missile against drones with proximity or timed fuse. It's pretty much a 40 mm grenade with a rocket behind it and a guidance system in front of it, it would have a greater range and might be more accurate.

METE is designed to be used against stationary targets. So IMHO you would need to change a lot parts of METE.

So is a 40 mm grenade, only thing different in ATOM is its electronic fuse so it can explode while still in the air instead of wherever it might it. I can't see why they would need to change "a lot of parts" in Mete on top of a proximity fuse or timed fuse instead of its semi-active laser so that it could fly towards the target and, well, explode.

Well, Mete is 50 cm long so lunchbox might be a bit too small but we can definitely fit a launcher with 6 Mete in a school bag for you mate here's one the Chinese have already done:

Part of the reason why I see potential in Mete as a missile against drones. 4 cm diameter with 50 cm length, we can put a small launcher on a tank for it and it can be easily reloaded as necessary.

Şahin still uses MK19 as far as I know, just with a shortened barrel and autoloader and its range (again iirc) is half of what MK19 itself is. Sarp system can use MK19 but as you said I can't remember seeing it on video either.

I know that it can operate it, there are photos of it, and even Pars SOV vehicles have them. I meant video of it using ATOM in C-UAS role. Aselsan have been working on this for years. Below images should be at least 5 years old.

One other thing remains. How efficient Sarp with Atom can be without Ihtar in place to detect, lead the gun and prime the timer fuse. If it is adequate, it would be a great addition, as we have maybe a thousand Sarps in use already. If it's succesful with already existing 50 cal gun without Ihtar, our armored columns may just be saved from kamikaze drone threat altogether without the need for additional vehicles with C-UAS role, carrying an Ihtar on top.

Well, ŞAHİN actually uses SARP RCWS, but it has some changes to fire control and most importantly Mk19 fitted with the programmers and stuff for ATOM munitions. You still need the latter to have Mk19 work in C-UAS role.

But yes, it is more like a software upgrade and easily dispensable throughout platforms using the RCWS. Our 4x4s can act as non-dedicated C-UAS systems now including with machine guns.

and yes Strong AI, I really want to see a 7.62 mm gatling SARP-L shredding some drones like a micro Phalanx CIWS.

Actually hell, our UGVs can join this train too as the majority uses SARP RCWS. Just think of an TUNGA UGV protecting our infantry with a 7.62 mm gatling/12.7 mm HMG/40 mm ATOM.

By the way, if anyone's confused, you can look at the picture in the tweet showing a SARP with 12.7 mm tracking a drone. The console screen reads "12.7 mm M33"

I'm 90% sure Şahin is just one of the fruits of Aselsan's 40mm Atom project for base defense based on Sarp, so that tracks.

What I really mean is as you say, can we employ this on all our existing Sarps of which we have many(do give me a quote if able, I think it's no less than 700) and how much modification it's needed to employ it on all. As we were one of the early adopters of RCWS in numbers, this might be a huge boon. I'm looking for cost effectiveness. Say, forego Ihtar, add an acoustic detector like the sniper detectors we have, tuned for small uavs. Make C-UAS mode slaved to the acoustic detector and one of 5 in every convoy runs in the C-UAS mode. And every convoy has a built in C-UAS system in place on the cheap.
