Looks like we get a cost-effectice missile against drones from MKE. So MKE Tolga will also have a laser weapon and missiles. Roketsan teased one cost-effective missile against drones too.

Ages ago Roketsan showcased a Mete turret on a small Havelsan UGV, it had 10 cells I think. That is what we need against kamikaze drones, we don't even need full range of Mete, if Roketsan can make it effective at maximum 500 meters, that is more than enough.

The contract has been signed for the interim solution project I mentioned earlier regarding ballistic missiles, which I said would come in the future.

SİPER-4 will meet the upper-tier anti-ballistic missile defense needs of our Air Force Command, while advancing our national proficiency even further in the fields of radar, guidance, command and control, missile technologies, and system integration.

ASELSAN's pedestal-mounted Stinger system project began in 1989 and was ready for production around 1994, but the project stalled until 2001 because the government did not approve production. After 2001, the Atılgan and Zıpkın KMS's were produced and gradually added to the inventory. I remember when they first started appearing in parades in 2004/2005, everyone was very proud and showered them with praise.
A lot has changed since then. Who would have said that ASELSAN and other Turkish defense industry companies would develop dozens of different air defense systems and acquire anti-ballistic capabilities! As the Turkish nation, we have truly accomplished great things, but this should not lead us to complacency. We must continuously strive for even more; we cannot afford to be weak.
