The GÖKALP System, notable for its drone-hunting capabilities, is a high-speed interceptor drone developed using low-cost industrial products. It integrates into a detection-identification-tracking chain against FPV and kamikaze drone threats, operating on the principle of kinetic impact destruction.

Ahmet Akyol stated that GÖKALP, developed as an effective solution against "Şahid" type kamikaze UAVs, is equipped with sensitive AESA radar and electro-optical systems, and utilizes two different interceptor drones: short-range and medium-range. Akyol emphasized that the system performs kinetic destruction by detonating the approaching kamikaze UAV in mid-air after radar tracking, and that it can do this automatically. He noted that the system works not only with ASELSAN solutions but also with Skydagger's interceptor systems, and that GÖKALP is targeted to enter the inventory next year.

ASELSAN's game-changing technologies, the MİĞFER Self-Defense FPV Interception System, were showcased for the first time at SAHA as part of the launch event, mounted on a 4x4 armored vehicle. MİĞFER is designed as a defense system for 4x4, 6x6, and tank-type platforms against mini-micro UAV targets. The physical destruction subsystem within the system neutralizes the threat using a hard-kill method.

Ahmet Akyol stated that thanks to its radar and LIDAR infrastructure, the MİĞFER system can automatically detect FPV drones at very short distances and physically destroy them with special ammunition, describing the system as "a solution that can automatically hunt down FPV drones like hunting birds."

They've been working on a revolver type 35mm, similar to KDG. Some of the weapon systems showcased over the years require the smaller footprint of the revolver to exist. Non surprisingly, all those systems also went nowhere, because they have no guns as MKE is yet to show it.

Ehm. FINALLY.
"A contract for the "Procurement of High-Velocity 35 mm Cannons" was signed between the Defense Industries Presidency and MKE."

Is this the same as they want to use with MKE TOLGA?
Yes. But still, the previously showcased Mantis like 35mm turret wasn't a real thing; it was a mockup copy of the Mantis. I do hope Aselsan renovates all its 35mm gun line now. We need Göker.

EJDERHA/AD 210 seems to be something more capable of handling things on its own not only with a bigger antenna but its own sensors too (That coaxial optic though :D)

There's one thing I want to know why. Skyranger has 1×1000. Gökdeniz has 2×550. Göker is also single barrel. What's the reason behind 1000-1200 rpm numbers? Why not 2×1000?

Wouldn't that be because German Metallurgy is better than ours and their barrels can withstand those numbers.

That would be another way of looking at it but I always thought higher fire rate would be overkill as both designed to shoot airburst rounds
