Ejection would have been the right thing, frankly. But most of time our pilots just refusing to do that. In the past, we lost extremely valuable and skilled pilots in such conditions. It seems that is a near-miss situation from this camera angle, but fortunately we evaded the worst.

Our pilots tend to think the aircraft is valuable, belong the people etc, however, they should also remember that them, themselves are much more valuable and belong to the people, too.

Anyway, our brave and beloved pilots are safe today, this all that matters.

At such an angle and low speed, there's also the real possibility that ejection could lead to fatality or serious injuries. I don't think Terminators had their ejection seats replaced, so they are carrying renovated seats from 60 years ago with much less capability.

I still think ejection would be right call, if seats are reliable of course.

However, I didnt take into consideration that ejection seat could be so old, if that is the case, fair enough, you might be right.

Bailing out is acceptable in training but not in show or in mission. And obviously it is not the equipment failing but the timing of the pilot being off some. Even that is questionable as we don't really see how close the plane actually was to the ground, you can see the plane going past the ground line already but you don't see how far down the ground is. So it is not the age old plane that is valuable it is the bravery of Turkish soldiers, dignity of Turkish aviators and also the life of the audience that the uncontrolled plane will cause great risk to.

Sure, pilot displayed his experience and skills as a seasoned aviator, but you cannot ignore the powerful thrust ran through those good ole J79 engines, either. This moment proves Jeremy Clarkson right one more time as he constantly claimed over the years, raw power and performance of an engine is crucial.

100 F404 engines were ordered in 2023 at the latest. No "congress phase" takes 2 years.

Just for clarifying. Turkeye had a local modernization program for F-16 Block 30 and 40 and that is more than 130 plane I gues. So how long will the program take to be completed? And how good is this modernization?

To be clear if the Typhoon are ordered and few even arrived don't be surprised if the contract is blocked and even the parts stopped being shipped in case Turkeye was pushed to do any big operation against terrorist groups even if not a single civilians died.

That's not APG-83. This is a meaningless conversation.

Two aircraft will carry two different radars. Murad on F-16 won't be as powerful as the nose radar on Kaan.

With that logic, Block 70 won't have Aselsan MFD display as well you can also cross that. or all the other lines.
