It means BMC is blatantly lying. We have photo evidence. They are not isolated ammunition racks. The first 40 tanks will probably be delivered without those capabilities in line with existing plans.
What they are saying is partially true because the ammo racks in the turret are isolated also that picture is more than 5 years old

Can you please enlighten us why/how that one picture proofs your point? How did you determine from that picture that it won't be in the final product? Which mechanical parts are missing from doing it? Why can't it be added further down the production line?

Ammo racks on the turret being isolated is a 60 year old design, that's not the point of the discussion. Photo was shared today by Güngör's twitter account during his visit to the factory.

All of it. There's nothing to argue here. We knew for 6 years that T1 would come with open hull stowage. An isolated stowage would be isolated, it's not an add-on.

So are you saying that isolated rack is a whole module which has to be assembled outside of the tank and then put inside the hull as a whole module?

Yes. This is how it looks on M1, though M1 carries most of its load on the turret:

Im not denying that i meant the graphic that was shown about the program development is a old picture
But still mostly up to date.

There are twelve ammunition racks each on the right and left sides of the driver’s compartment in the chassis. In light of lessons learned both from operations conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces and from the Russia–Ukraine War, necessary precautions have been implemented on the new ALTAY tank (an isolated-hull ammunition configuration) so that, in the event of a hit, the ammunition in the turret and chassis will not detonate and cause the tank’s destruction.

The turret roof armor of the new ALTAY tank has been manufactured taking into account modern ATGM threats that have a top-attack capability—either a direct dive strike or an effect from above caused by a directed blast while passing over.

Which New Systems Have Been Integrated into the Altay Tank?

Active Protection System
New Powerpack (or New Power Group)
Tank Crew Training System
Isolated Hull Ammunition Rack
Crew Escape Hatch

BMC didn't add a single bolt to 'new' Altay, it was subcontractors updating the design of their system to compensate for what has been obsolote. All they did was to integrate powerpack, which also mainly carried out by the manufacturer itself. Mechanically, it is the same Altay.

They have promises for T2, which i highly doubt if they will succeed in any. I won't be surprised if remaining 200 will be ordered in T1 configuration + what other subcontractors may offer.
