• BMC Power has made significant progress on the BATU Power Pack, which will eliminate the need for foreign power packs in the ALTAY Tank. The goal is to have the BATU-equipped ALTAY ready by the end of 2026.
• Tests are occasionally conducted on the tank with the complete power group. In this context, the ALTAY tank equipped with the BATU Power Group performs tasks such as cruising and climbing
• Development work on the power group's engine is largely complete. Work continues with test envelopes aimed at meeting various standards. Development work on the transmission component is proceeding simultaneously

they will probably deliver 2-3 prototypes with Batu next year for field test but i'm not sure if it would be in the t1 or t2 configuration

So the numbers are like this :
(T1 - 3 YEAR ) - 85 TANKS
2025 - 5 tanks
2026 - 11 tanks
2027 - 40 tanks
2028* - 30 tanks
( T2 - 2 YEARS - 165 TANKS )
2028* - 2030 - 165 TANKS T2
( total 250 Tanks for 5 years )
New factory can build 98 tanks per year at full power and 100 + armored vihacles
- Still we need to speed up the process or we cant finish 1000 tank until 2042 while out advesaries like russia can build 300 tanks per year . We can deacrease Apc-ifv and produce 120 tanks per year at least .

These are absolutely laughable numbers… The level of production is tiny.

For peace time np deleyed project 96 / year is good number but the problem is that Altay tank is deleyed so much , normally 2016 should be the year for production by Otokar but thats not happen as everyone knows so goverment duty in this case is to compesate the deley by increasing number of tanks per year , if still land forces want 1000 number than 150 tanks / year and still with that numbet it take 10 years to produce them since first years will be lower 5-6 years will be with 150 tanks per year

We are not going to have 1000 tanks, where on earth did you even get the idea that army wants that many tanks???

İ dont make up 1000 tank number from my mind bro , that number is everywhere in media & social networks by 250 in 4 batches. Aslo by logic 1000 is good number to replace old tanks , do u know hpw many old tanls we have ? !
- Leo 1 , M48 , m60 , thats 1500+ old tanks
- İsrael for example have some 700 Merkava 4 which are modern ones
- 1000 for Turkiye is not too much
