Actually wasn't this supposed to be in the tail? I remember it as such especially for the EDH variant.
Am i remembering it wrong or did they make the nose the lighter beyond the plan and had to counter the weight? This one doesn't seem to be resolved by improving avionics and electronics, or the E/O but will need complete redesign of the nose section to overcome.

I believe this resolved some of the issues with resonances, both tail and front section received weight gains.

Yes, I'm sure. They are not in the back section. They are in the front section. They are not "counterweights". They are there to minimize vibrations. Counterweights are installed when the vehicle is unbalanced and you need to adjust the center of gravity.

=> 83 Certain + 20 Optional = 103 ATAK Helicopters.

Delivered: 62 ATAKs
Remaining: 41 ATAKs
=> 2 each Month = 20 Months > 02/2023 ( PH and PAK = 36 ATAKs = 18 Months > 08/2024 )

Cost:
40M USD * 103 = 4.1B USD in 9 Years (455M USD per Year)

T629 will likely follow after 2024, especially since the TS1400 Engine will be Certified in 2024, it is safe to assume that the T629 will be in serial Production around that time.

I think we shouldn't buy the optional choppers and use the money to upgrade all existing T-129 phase 1 and 2 choppers to the phase 3 level.
We should also buy T-629 to replace the remaining AH-1s when the T-629 is ready.

We should also buy T-629 to replace the remaining AH-1s when the T-629 is ready.
If wouldn't acquire the Remaining 41 T129s that would be 1.64B + ( 36 * 10M USD Profit per Sale.) 360M USD = 2.0B USD

From the Money that we could save, I would say lets make sure there is Naval version of the T929, so it can be stationed on the TCG Anadolu and in the meantime we could build the TCG Trakya with the additional Money and station the T929 on both.
or Finance Hürjet Naval.

I would say lets make sure there is Naval version of the T929
929 is going to be navalized from scratch. It would be enough if they did make the 929 as soon as possible and then move on the 10 tonnes general purpose variant and equip TCG Anadolu with these decent aircraft.

We do not know the plans for the T629. This chopper is also suitable for marine use. With the coming TS1500 engine this flyer is a good performer at sea level. Being powered by a domestic engine it will be an ace in our sleeve. T929 will be powered by Ukrainian engine initially and we have no idea when a domestic engine can be prepared for it. I would rely on a highly domestic helicopter to be on the safe side. Also island nations can be targeted as foreign customers with this model as it is a lowlands/see level performer.

Joint drill with PAF where ATAK participates we could have 6 of them join for testing and wait out. We could bring 6-12 TB2 along for additional joint drill. 100% domestic ones no foreign parts.

With regard to Poland. It’s better to not sell too cheap like Radar said. Poland is in a favorite position and gets better AD from US I think they rven got PAC2 or 3.

Murat TOPÇU at the ceremony held with the participation of TAI, which was given the task of developing a unique helicopter within the scope of the vision of increasing the domestic and national capabilities of our country, and the design and test activities of the T625 Gökbey helicopter. The scope of approval, previously granted for fixed-wing aircraft within the scope of the Hürkuş project, was extended to include “Large Rotary Wing Aircraft” and a Design Organization Approval Certificate was given.

TAI first made an application to our General Directorate to expand the scope for large helicopters on 23.03.2016, and as a result of the inspections and meetings held afterwards, type certification activities for Large Helicopters were successfully added to the scope of the Design Organization Approval numbered TR.21J.002.

Speaking at the ceremony, TAI General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel KOTİL said, “Today is a very important day for us. Previously, we had a certification authority for the fixed wing Hürkuş. Now, we have successfully completed another important stage for GÖKBEY, which is our 100% national helicopter from scratch. By strengthening our cooperation with SHGM, we will continue to take all necessary actions for our domestic and national products.” said.

I think it would be a mistake not to diversify civilian helicopter line.

Single engine helicopter - 4/6 passenger
Smaller twin engine helicopter - 6 passengers

Maybe form an smaller company, and develop an single piston engine 4 passenger helicopter. R44 Competitor

Since there is no thread. Also we should also develop light fixed wing aircraft for civilian market. TEI PD-170 powered single or twin. Invest in hybrid, electric propulsion technologies.

We have advantages, affordable to develop and build in Turkey, available internal market especially for helicopters and close proximity to EU market.
