Azerbaijan Armenia Tensions

Exactly, we don't want to point losses, war is not going in a way it was supposed to go . Azerbaijan suffered unexpected losses. They move aimlessly with their armored like living coffins. They didn't consider ATGMs , completely ignored it . Turkish training didn't reflects on their movements.
To speak the truth, Armenians faced smartly to the better equiped and bigger Azerbaijan forces .

Aren't tanks supposed to be supported by drones and Advancing Infantry to take out ATGM teams? Newer Russian Tanks and APC's already have fixed drone carriers. Advancing armor without any support what so ever should be akin to incompetence.

Well according to wiki neither Azerbaycan or Armenia has a professional army.

Which kinda begs the question, how can Azerbaycan with all that gas not have a professional army.

Also it doesn't seem like Azerbaycan has a professional army. which I don't understand. Turkey should have enforced a standing professional army of at least 10.000 back in 2009 when we signed a treaty to train the soldiers.

The Azeri political and military leadership are to blame for this. They are pathetic. Remember the Azeri foreign minister that was nowhere to be seen after last July's skirmish? Doesn't seem to me Aliyev knows how to control his ministers if they can just bail like that during conflict.

The Armenian are evacuating several towns including their "capital". They must be feeling the pressure on the frontlines.

Please don't come here and give the Russians as an exemplary example here. We have seen their incompetence and the quality of their weaponry over and over again.

Underestimating your opponent is always a recipe for disaster. Russians have made their equipment to suit them, it's up to the countries who purchase it to know how to use them.

Let's hope that it's going to result in Azerbaycan retaking those lands.

They'll probably react a ceasefire after giving up some lands.

Question is how much. I think Lavrov said something about which areas that belonged to Azerbaycan while some places were heavily Armenian. So perhaps Russia will allow for some of those to be retaken.

Putin needs to give something to Aliyev to keep him on his list of trusted allies. That works for Turkey too.

There are talks about the US trying to open a front in Caucasia, so perhaps it's one reason. But we'll have to be alert and move fast and exert control.

A professional army is needed to hold the recently conquered lands!

Perhaps the attack was not well co-ordinated.

We saw their laughable performance against Georgia.
