However their abundance or economical viability of their extraction are still questionable and information about this is not made public. Usage information is not very accurate. Like the Chinese,destroying nature or do we have better ways?

I think it is related to the scale of operations for one, if your industry is as big as China's serving the entire world you make a big environmental impact. If you are going with a relatively modest capacity your impact is more tolerable. Environmental impact is mostly measured by the carbon footprint, if you will be using electric power from renewable sources you can minimize the cost to the environment to possibly zero.

There are ups and downs to every decision you make and every path you chose. The bottomline is you need to be profitable and also sustainable.

Speaking of REE refining Minister Baytraktar said "We want to break the grround in 2026 and realize the projrect within 2 tears".

If this investment gets realized with national capabilities for the most part it will be a big deal.
