I see the stuff my nephew watches and I pity kids today. They were born too late to witness some of the all-time greats.

Kids will never understand the awesomeness of Catdog, angry beavers, rockos modern life, ahhh real monsters, hey arnold, dexters lab, cow and chicken, i am weasel, ren and stimpy and various other cartoons of the 80s, 90s and the 2000s.

Loved that cartoon era (its the one i grew up with)....but there was even more violence in the era that predated it haha.

I always laffed my ass of as a kid each time the part where jerry plays hammer xylophone on the cats stuck fingers lol:

Another favourite episode conclusion, the part in this episode where tom reels in the dog....that painful part the dogs head goes through the two rocks (with that sound effect too) in the water always made me laugh so bad haha:

....and jerry cooly walking up to tom to give him a club haha (tom not figuring out why jerry is even on land now lol)...

Then gets to go "fishing" with Tom at end....in different way lol.

I actually had a VHS tape as a kid of the best tom and jerry cartoons of all time (they won major awards etc).
Just impossible to have these kind of cartoons made today.

It was great being a kid. Also the videogames from ps1, super nintendo, ps2, n64 and the original xbox. Sega was also mega for its time.

Really miss those times where life was simple while playing soccer or even cricket with friends.

Good old days.
