Indonesia has 280 mio habbitants. And how many polices?
I have never been there, but we have 400.000 police and if the police by population ratio is similar they should have 1.5 million in police service.

EDIT: I don't see an up to date number for police officers but a reported 2021 number shows like 287.000. If you add the numbers for Gendarmerie it is around 400k I guess.

Naah , we only have around 440-480k personels around the whole country . And even quarter of that were basically a militia/semi military related jobs /gendarmiere forces . Not to mention we are basically a peacefull country . Budgetting issues were always a kill switch in every round of expansion plan . thankfully most of us were such a chills and laid back persons . We just don't aspire much to be honest ..

The Romanian Minister of Defence, Angel Tîlvăr, paid a visit to Turkey for military and defence contacts.

"Angel Tîlvăr will visit the facilities of the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) and some Turkish defence companies in order to strengthen the defence industry relationship between the two countries and will receive comprehensive information about the products of the companies."

Wonder if this has any relation to their howitzer tender.

The article doesn't mention joint production though, only talks about export?
If anyone has the full article then please share it. The talks seem to be regarding "cooperation". It's a very wide term, it could be technology transfer, research programs, or assembly of missiles in UAE, etc. Let's wait, and see where the journey will lead us to.

The article linked in the tweet has this statement from Roketsan:

"We signed very valuable agreements at the SAHA & EDGE Defence Industry Meeting, which was organised in cooperation with SAHA Istanbul and EDGE in order to increase the exports of our defence industry and to support the export efforts of our member companies."

That's why I said the article just mentions export. It might be just the sale of Tolun and UAV-230 for use with Akıncı, or, as you said might be more and wasn't mention in it.

It is talked that it's Estonia and they are also going to buy 4x4 MRAPs so there is a big possibility that we see Cobra II being purchased.

Estonia will sign contracts worth approximately €200 million to buy armored vehicles from Turkey for the Estonian Defense Forces (EDF).

More than 200 vehicles will be allocated to the EDF's 2nd infantry brigade, which has seen heavy investment over the last several years, the Center for Defense Investments said on Monday.

Additionally, four armored 4x4s will be sent to the Rescue Agency's demining center.
The Ministry of Defense is scheduled to sign contracts with two Turkish companies on October 18.

Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler plans to visit Estonia for the occasion.

Now this is interesting to me. We knew for months that all four finalists in Estonia’s 4x4 tender were Turkish vehicles and Cobra was probably the most likely to win.
Estonia was to buy 200 something vehicles total in 4x4 and 6x6 models to arm their second brigade. Expectation was that a Turkish model would win 4x4 while Patria 6x6 would probably be chosen for 6x6. Finland, Estonia and few other neighbors are opting for the same vehicle for greater interoperability.

What’s more interesting is that we had no reports of Arma 6x6 being tested in Estonia unlike the 4x4s that were there for months.

It would be a great win if Otokar can snatch this from Patria but let’s wait to see the results. I think this Arma 6x6 sale and Estonia sale might just be separate still. I’m still hoping Romania for the Arma sale.

edit, to expand. Estonian source have this sentence, saying separate contracts with two companies. Interesting. Four demining 4x4s? Which model with attachments we have for that role?

“The Ministry of Defense is scheduled to sign contracts with two Turkish companies on October 18.“
