While the deals cannot be compared one to one due to many variables, it is clear that Baykar is milking the European countries.

Our Indigenous Wings in the Croatian Skies! ✈️

A historic agreement between Baykar and the Croatian Ministry of Defense for the export of #BayraktarTB2 UCAV was signed in Zagreb. 🇹🇷🇭🇷

With this agreement, #BayraktarTB2 has entered the defense inventory of yet another NATO and EU member state.

And will have AF500s, so double win. First AF500 export to a NATO country as well.

Turkish defense company to empower Pakistani army

The Turkish defense industry is set to strengthen Pakistan’s army by establishing production facilities, as a growing number of countries prioritize domestic manufacturing of defense products amid escalating global conflicts.

Haberin Devamı
Turkish defense firms are in high demand for their reliable design and production capabilities, one of which is Repkon, based in Istanbul.

Repkon will establish a highly automated turnkey production line for 155-millimeter artillery production, as well as an explosive filling line in Pakistan, capable of producing 120,000 units per year.

Repkon previously signed a deal with the U.S. Defense Department to establish 155-mm artillery shell production lines in Texas and has now entered into a similar agreement with Pakistan’s Wah Industries Limited (WIL).

Repkon offers innovative solutions in the metal forming sector, and the firm has been attracting interest both in Türkiye and worldwide with its strategic defense, aerospace and space industries products and its capabilities in installing production lines.

WIL operates as a contractor under the Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF), producing a range of weapons, ammunition and military-grade hardware for the Pakistan Armed Forces and international clients. Pakistan's stringent military standards enable the country to export to several nations.
Repkon has made an agreement with Wah Industries Limited (WIL) to establish a production and filling line for 155mm artillery shell bodies in Pakistan.

Under the signed contract, a highly automated turnkey line will be set up for the annual production of 120,000 155mm shell bodies. An explosive filling line will also be established to match this capacity.

WIL operates under the Pakistan Ordnance Factories, which is responsible for producing various weapons, ammunition, and military equipment for the Pakistan Armed Forces and foreign customers.

Repkon opening factories left and right, I hope they get a guaranteed number of orders per year to justify the investment.

On the other hand, how much I wish that our regular industry and companies would have been more risk taking and export & growth oriented, instead of focusing inwards and becoming the king in a small pond. How much potential was wasted in the last decades because of our backward mindset in entrepreneurship.

RMN require 18 LMS for future plan.
18 number includes the already inducted Keris Class boats as well, right? We did see a potential option of 3+8 in the past I believe for LMS Batch II. We can also expect most of the ships to be built in Malaysian shipyards. I do think Ada for Malaysian Navy is a great pick, probably even better than Hisar Class OPV for us.
