For this reason we have Cyprus.
Cyprus welcomes gambling and people earn money while they are under international sanctions.
Cyprus already has casinos, I remember some of our politicians going there to gamble. In short they do not need it. I want a gambling on an island close to Greek tourists mainly where you sail to get there.

Do we have a descent island for gambling ? Which island do you mean?

Wouldn't it be undermining Cyprus tourism sector?
For now between Greek islands and Türkiye there is no transport opportunities due to coronavirus. Ferries closed. Do you think Greeks have money to spend gambling and flourishing us?

Not the greeks but the tourists visiting Cos/Rhodos (Istankoy/Rodos adasi) and such.

Antalya has many Russian Tourists, so it would be a good thing to have a Casino there as well. (I don't think it will undermine KKTC Casino sector).

At the 10th Transport Ministerial Meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization, it was decided to reopen the Istanbul-Tehran-Islamabad freight train at the beginning of 2021. It was emphasized that with the commissioning of the train in question, freight transportation can be carried out with conventional wagons as well as container transportation on the route.

Check out a part of this video from 35 to 39.

IOU is common among people.

I heard of a different system. Something that can replace banks. But requires trust in people.

5 ppl who don't have bank want to save up (because they're bad at it), so they agree to pool 100 usd every month. At the end of the year ppl can withdraw the full amount minus a small commission.

The commission goes to the person who agrees to be bookkeeper (5 months entry = 500 usd - a bit too much imo).

The gist is you can never withdraw more than has been pooled, or more than you will pay in 11 months (I think the commission was a whole months entry thus 12-1 = 11).

That means you can max withdraw 1100 usd, which is only possible after 3rd months entry.

I hope it makes sense to you guys, but when I heard about it. I had difficulty seeing the smart idea in saving up that way. But if you come from a poor country and you have difficulty saving up, and there aren't any banks close by, this system seems to be the closest thing to banking, the commission is high and that's probably to keep the bookkeeper honest.

I know some people who've been doing this in Philippines and been able to partly finance/buy a ISUZU SUV 7 seat... (of course they spent their own savings as well).

They do a similar thing four house sales in Turkey. You chip in your payments and they give you a house at the end. But you may be the last person to get the house. The first person is lucky and the last one is unlucky.

What is stressed in the video is Turkish economy is actually bigger than the numbers reveal. Therefore I provided the graphics showing the comparison between economies in the following posts. The person in video even claims that the Turkish economy is ranked as 10th largest in some lists although I have only seen up to 13 so far. When calculated by PPP GDP that is.

Currently poverty level is 8000lira while minumum wages 2500.

Secondly 10 million people earn around and lower than minumum wage.

Finally ,
DİSK: '' Broadly defined unemployment due to Corona exceeded 13 million ''

Other side:

5 construction companies from Turkey are the most tender areas among the top 10 companies in the world.
(Limak Holding, Cengiz Holding, Kolin, Kalyon ve MNG Holding )

When there is monopolistic otocratic public administrations, there are soaring poverty levels.

Now you calculate how many Turkish citizens are happy with the economy?

Why not two people in the family work instead of one.
Why have two kids if you can't afford.
Why not include other incomes than just the salary in the total income.
Happiness situation is more complex than what just a few numbers can explain.
Happiness is usually relative to how others are doing, and the cost of it to you in terms of how much effort you have to put into making it.

At least 3 kids? if 2 people in the family work, they still get 5000 TL and have one kid they are still below the poverty line.

When you go to the marketplace you find the same products with differing prices. You shop smart and buy more to make ends meet.

"At least 3 kids, as told by Erdogan"
While some other religious clerics are telling protection and birth control is Haram, even against will of Allah.
So this people rejects protection and birth control when offered by doctors, because those charlatan clerics are allowed to speak

Who will bear the kids?
Oh, also in numerous places it was stated by pro-AKP people that woman should be bearing the children at home.
A baby sitter is expensive too.

Ever met a father in Istanbul who can't buy a turkish banana for his child? Or maybe a chocolate too? I did.
Should i tag the father who has suicide because of poverty? Or several other people suicide because of such reasons? It is all over the news, not on Sabah or such places.

There are a multitude of examples you can find to exemplify extremes but you know very well that they a drop in the sea.

At least 3 kids if you can afford it, do you understand now.
Ak Parti makes all the laws and regulations to facilitate and encourage the working of women and you don't know it.
