Sure and the West will certainly give you the thumbs up, right?
You literally summed up why Erdogan is in problems with literally all the West
He doesnt wanna give Karabagh
He doesnt wanna give Western libya
He doesnt wanna give Syria
He doesnt wanna give Qatari bases
He doesnt wanna give up blue homeland doctrine

If you truly wanna rewind your relationship with the West, you need to expect from the new aeministration to give back most of these red lines; otherwise, expect that the turkish foreign policy under the new management wont change and they will continue what Erdo started, period! (Though I doubt that tbh as we are already seeing some signs of them giving up some of these red lines)

Like i said before, in order to keep the red lines, you must carve around it with charmeoffensives and chess give-aways. Give some to get more, win the public opinion, one step back to put more forward, no harsh words etc.

- Invite Assad to Ankara, promise reconstruction investments and pull your checkpoints out regime territory. You can still stay in North Syria.

- There a hundreds of old and destroyed Greek churches in Turkey. Restorate them and make them active with good propaganda, let people use them, great mediacoverage and still go for drilling in East Med.

- There are maybe thousand old and broken Armenian churches and shrines and villages. Restorate the buildings with great media coverage, research the old Ottoman-Armenian families and their grandchildren and give them the right to visit their villages and old homes, make peace with Armenia, open the border, go for normalisation and trade with them. Still dont recognize the Armenian 'genocide'.

- Make peace with Israel, invite them, talk with them and USA will listen automatically to you. No country that has good relations with Israel will get bad relations with USA. Still support Hamas.

The clue here is, you must cover your red lines with enough snow and good deeds to KEEP those red lines.

You can not have bad relations with everyone and keep the red lines at the same time.

Central Bank reserves stand at $117.8 bln in August

ANKARA

Central Bank reserves stand at $117.8 bln in August

The Turkish Central Bank’s total reserves stood at $117.8 billion in August, marking an 11.3% increase compared to the previous month, the bank announced on Sept. 28.

Official reserve assets jumped 11.3%, according to the bank's international reserves and foreign currency liquidity report.

In August, foreign currency reserves- in convertible foreign currencies- rose to $69.3 billion, a monthly rise of 10.6%, while gold reserves decreased by 2.4% to $40.6 billion.

Short-term predetermined net drains of the central government and the CBRT- foreign currency loans, securities, and FX deposit liabilities- up 14.5% this August from a month earlier, reaching $23.1 billion.

Of this amount, $17.5 billion belongs to principal repayments and $5.6 billion to interest repayments, it added.

"Additionally, outstanding FX and gold liabilities arising from the CBRT’s financial derivative activities with resident and non-resident banks recorded $67.2 billion, of which $28.6 billion is due in one month," it said.

There are two items that will increase the bank's gross reserves in the coming period.

With the bank's latest required reserve regulation, the amount of foreign currency held by banks at the Central Bank is expected to increase by$3.4 billion to over $65 billion.

In addition, the swap agreement with South Korea, which was signed over a month ago, has not yet entered the accounts.

With these two developments, the total reserve is estimated to reach $125.5 billion.

Still support Hamas.
Not that I don't think your overall idea isn't a good direction to try but why? Unlike the other ones, where you could theoretically win something out of it in the political arena, Turkey gets nothing out of supporting Hamas. Even many Palestinians don't like them.

Irregularity in the Court of Accounts report... The Central Bank misunderstood 'independence'!

The Central Bank spent 52 million liras last year for the health expenses of its personnel and relatives, contrary to the law. Irregularity in the Court of Accounts report... The Central Bank misunderstood 'independence'!

It has been revealed that the Central Bank , which has not taken into account the warnings of the Court of Accounts since 2013, has spent more than 262 million liras for the treatment and medication expenses of its personnel and dependents since that date.

According to the information contained in the Central Bank's Audit Report for the Year 2020 of the Court of Accounts, the private health expenditure of the institution for personnel from the bank budget was 52 million 178 thousand liras only last year.

The Court of Accounts determined that the Central Bank, which announced that it ended this practice as of January 1, 2018, continued this practice by purchasing Group Health Insurance service with the "External Source" within the scope of the "exception" pursuant to Article 3 (c) of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734.

The Court of Accounts also reminded of the payments made by the Central Bank to private health institutions in the past years. According to the news of İsmail Şahin from Sözcü, private insurance companies;
23.4 million in 2013,
24.9 million in 2014,
28.5 million in 2015,
29.8 million in 2016,
30.5 million in 2017,
34.3 million in 2018,
38.9 million in 2019
and The Central Bank, which paid 52.1 million lira in 2020, spent a total of 262.5 million lira in 8 years for the health of its personnel and their families.

They didn't use SSI

According to the information in the audit report of the Court of Accounts, the amount determined by the Health Practice Communiqués (SUT) for the Central Bank personnel going to private hospitals is covered by the SSI, and the amount exceeding the SUT fees is paid by the Bank personnel, while the treatment expenses are paid by the non-contracted private health institutions and organizations and private physicians. All of them had to be met by the bank staff. However, the Central Bank made private health insurance for the bank members and their dependents using the institution's safe.

TCA: UNLAWFUL

Reminding that with the Law No. 5510, all employees have been united under the umbrella of SGK since 2010 and the practice of paying for treatment and medication from the budgets of the administrations within the scope of the law, the Court of Accounts warned the Central Bank.

The auditors of the Court of Accounts, who wanted the practice to be ended as soon as possible, said in the report, "The practice of making duplicate and unlawful payments as a result of paying both the SGK and the private insurance company for the health services that must be carried out by the SGK should be abandoned."

YOU UNDERSTOOD INDEPENDENCE

The Central Bank has been defending the issue by emphasizing "independence", stating that it has an independent and unique legal status for a long time. The answer of the Court of Accounts regarding this is as follows:

“The Bank's independence in carrying out its duties due to Article 4 of Law No. 1211, its financial independence due to Article 22, and the fact that it prepares its own budget, and the authority to determine the status of personnel due to Articles 32 and 33 belongs to the Board of Directors of the Bank. It does not authorize the Council to cover the health expenses of the personnel from the Bank's budget, which is in contradiction with the provision that the provisions of the Law No. 5510 regarding the personnel in Article 34 of the Law No. 1211. Regulations on health expenditures enacted by the Board of Directors cannot be contrary to the provision in the article of the Law, which is the upper norm.”

This is and will be a slave force literally. Millions will work for wages under 300$ per month because Erdo wants to be the China of Europe.

10 years is the best period if we want to be the leader. Prophet Muhammad also become National leader for Madinah when he is 50 years old and he passes away when he is about 62 years old. Other Caliphs also has about 10 years leadership (Abu Bakar/Umar/Ustman/Ali).

Erdogan should pass his leadership in AKP to other, except he thinks he is better than those great persons I mentioned above

According to tweet nearly 43% are working for minimum wage if I interpret it correct.
Of those who are working that is...
And then they say people dont want to work even when there are jobs, why would i want to work minimum wage in a construction and risk my health when the money isnt enough at the end of the month anyways.
I might need a job but that doesnt mean i will let myself treat like a semi slave, the goverment supporters who have nice wages have easy talk when they say just go to work there is enough.
Maybe, just maybe people want to live like humans, its quite hypocritical to tell them to do the jobs that you yourself wont.

Does this account officially paid or unofficially paid the minimum wage?
There are many companies who first pays more than minimum wage and then collects the 'extra' portion back.
And many of them make people, refugees, work for less than minimum wage unofficially without insurance and register.
Some pays minimum wage because of the officiality, then collects a portion of it back.
I think this number will easily rise to 60-70% if accounting these incidents.
So 100 - memur count - 5 = true ratio of lower than or equal to minimum earners.

When you have found the perfect leadership you want it to last forever.
Prophet Mohammad was poisoned by a Jewish woman.

I find it truly sad that you only bother commenting on religious issues rather than the economy we're talking about here.

Nope, the duration between the poisoning and his pass away is quite long, more than 2 years. He was very healthy during those years. It was a natural death as he has completed his duty.

The story IMO is a sign from God that 10 years is the maximum period to be a good leader and after that just give the power to other potential leader.

Same like in Indonesia. Soekarno is great during Independence War and Soeharto is great during his first 10 years.

Soekarno in 1955, he becomes corrupt in 1959 where he become dictator

Soeharto during his first 2-3 years as leader

My words are in response to someone who made a reference to a religious personality and you can not see that.

You have an unreasonable relations with numbers. What is good is wanted forever. You only change something if things are very much worse than they can be while things are going perfect in Turkey in relative manner. Much of those who want to change leadership in Turkey also want Turkey to disappear, like they have in the past millenium.
