Currency depreciason is only problem for first world economies, for Turkey at the moment not that much. Otherwise you can control it in certain extemt with supporting companies which are do not bussiness in usd primarely, do not buy fairy detegent for example and so on.

Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund ADQ will sign a cooperation deal with Turkey Wealth Fund, or TWF, according to an official familiar with the talks. ADQ and TWF will also sign a deal to establish a venture fund to invest in technology companies.

Invest is beneficial but not when it comes at the cost of political/foreign policy gains. Out of all emerging countries why would the UAE decide to invest billions into Turkey - especially at time where relations are sour and the Turkish economy is very unstable?

Could it be to tap into turkish technology or perhaps use the investments as leverage for other issues e.g. libya.

Apparently the UAE has been eyeing to invest in Aselsan - which imo would be a catastrophe seeing as the company is regarded as a national treasure of sorts.

Idk tbh but comparing BMC amd Aselsan is a bit far fetched
Lets not forget that BMC already wasnt performing well and needing influx of cash and above all Turkey still controls the company
As for Aselsan, which is the best company in Turkey along with TAI, if Erdo really did sell even 10% of the shares, he should be hanged and I cant believe I would be saying this as I still like Erdo more than the CHP freaks; although recently, aim starting to like Yavas a bit

the difference between Ecevit and this government is the military industry, a military independence that disturbs, the fall of the currency is purely political, Jordan produces nothing but its currency is stronger than the Russian ruble, this is called economic manipulation.
